Bill Browder: Putin has got a major shortage of diesel fuel in Russia, and so I don't believe that he's actually gonna supply the fuel. Second, the amounts are de minimis compared to what the United States actually needs.

A great primer on what’s at stake with question 9 on the MA ballot, which asks voters whether they want to keep our 2024 gun safety law or repeal it. Vote YES on 9 to keep this law in place, and check out my remarks below on why we should do so! 1/ www.boston.com/news/politic...

What to know about Mass. Ballot Question 9, the effort to repeal a sweeping gun reform law

A yes vote would keep the sweeping gun reform law in place, while a no vote would repeal it.

On the creation of a firearms data dashboard: “We cannot address an issue that we don’t fully understand. So having this data being publicly available has helped academics, has helped folks in the community, it’s helped law enforcement. It just helps us better understand the issue.” 2/

On the regulation of ghost guns: “We’ve heard from law enforcement that they are very happy to know that there is this requirement to serialize homemade guns. It helps them know when they are responding to a home whether a gun is in that home, and that helps protect their safety as well.” 3/

On the opposition’s claim that we are taking away their rights to own guns: “There’s nothing in this legislation that disrupts a legal pathway to owning a gun… The year after this law was enacted, more people than before were able to successfully complete getting their License to Carry…” 4/

“…That flies in the face of what our opposition says around this being an impediment to legal gun ownership, that is just simply not the case.” My next quote is on why voting YES on 9 matters not just for Massachusetts but for the rest of the country. 5/

“Our opposition has made it clear that they see this as a playbook that they could try in other states that have strong gun laws… this ballot question matters greatly. It matters for MA… but it matters nationally in sending a message that this is not a strategy that is going to work.” 6/
