Another day, another reference snuck into work.

Make no mistake, Microsoft suddenly going hard on regulation for AI is not in the interest of public safety, it's so they can influence what that regulation is, and halt progress of their competitors who don't have endless money.

Slight correction folks - the Leon S Kennedy Guns and Ammo is not a fake photoshop. It is 100% real. I don't think Cregger had any involvement or knowledge of its addition (likely a producer decision in late post and marketing). ✌️

Thank you to my @faspraypod.bsky.social fam for grabbing me the Resident Evil popcorn bag a few weeks back! Today it finally arrived. Taking suggestions on what to store in it. 🤔

Huge thank you to my boy @thrillex.bsky.social for grabbing me an E-Day tee and beer mats from the Gears event in London that I missed 🥹

Today hit harder than I expected. Our family dog, Jesse took her final walk over the bridge. A blessing in our lives that will never be matched. My heart is especially broken for my brother who was her everything, as she was to him. Hug your pups!

My Gears of War: E-Day Collector's Edition arrived! I can never really afford these things but it's been an awful year, so for my birthday back in June I treated myself for once. Let me relish in this!

My SPOILER FREE review of Zach Cregger's Resident Evil with TWO ratings for the price of ONE. (So officially, it's in the middle somewhere for me). Deep dive coming to @faspraypod.bsky.social this weekend!

Resident Evil movie impressions are dropping and there's a clear common sentiment. Just saw one take which got me more intrigued than anything so far though 👀 . . . . "The final third is madcap Cabin in the Woods fun."

Was gonna pick up that Wolverine game. 💀

I am really trying to not be petty about this new Resident Evil film but come on.

Home from three insane days of work at the county show and walking around the site with this guy was my main marketing technique of the weekend. It had a 50/50 return. Half want to come up and talk, half run away screaming. Either way, I made an impact. (Almost 70k steps 🫠)

KDB @kdb-innit.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

I think most people have realised the game was just OK in the end. An incredibly well front loaded experience which by the time the credits rolled, featured a lot we'd all like to forget. My prediction for DLC is Hound Wolf Squad. 💀

KDB @kdb-innit.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

As it stands, this is currently the best piece of marketing the new Resident Evil film has produced. Great poster!

My alternate spoiler free Gears of War: E-Day campaign preview, in a magazine feature! I wanted to offer something with no story details, and had some fun putting it together - hope you like it! ✌️

Calling all horror game devs! For the fifth year running, I will be on the jury for the Horror Game Awards! If you have something for me to consider for nominations - now's the time to reach out. I play on PC and Xbox. Thank you! 🙏 🧟‍♂️ 🔪👻🩸

Four different ads today. Sitting right there in the first spot of the feed on my TV. Horrible.

000

KDB @kdb-innit.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

So Youtube Premium is now putting ads in your feed. In the last 24 hours I've had a full screen ad, and now this sitting at the top of my recommendations. Why is every single company just getting worse and worse.

Wolverine looks set to be a solid 7.5 then? Previews have produced interesting comments such as "monotonous", "lacking", "uninspired"..."with great mocap!". Has Sony still got the juice? Insomniac have got like six more of these Marvel games to make...

KDB @kdb-innit.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

While episodes 5 & 6 of House of the Dragon were a little plodding, I thought last week was much better, and the finale was fantastic. A masterclass in characters realising they done fucked up but can probably never go back. Who doesn't love desperation and madness, eh? Who are YOU rooting for? 👀

Sneaky little server test on Gears of War E-Day tonight that kept me up past my bedtime. There was me thinking my PVP days were behind me...

KDB @kdb-innit.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

They are, just ironically Sonic himself is probably the weakest thing about them all. Around him there's some genuine comedy, sweet character stuff and they get better with each movie.

KDB @kdb-innit.bsky.social · 30/07/2026

Thanks to Xbox I got to preview Gears of War E-Day! The Coalition have freshened up Gears movement in a big way, with Horde Siege mode taking inspiration from games like Helldivers 2, giving a jaw-dropping and multi-objective co-op experience on the biggest maps ever. I can't wait to play more.

A fleeting visit to London in which we hit basically all key landmarks and more in just over 24 hours. My first time being a tourist there after many visits over the years for work and gigs. Was nice. Though my feet my never recover.

Pokemon Go Fest ended up being a damp squib for me, my son, and friends round here. Lots of server issues and game bugs, no Mega Mewtwo Raid spawns in our area either. Just ended up with a few mostly 2 star legendaries. Hardly the 10 year celebration you'd hope for! #PokemonGo

It's so funny watching these first two episodes of S3 of House of the Dragon which are literally just episodes 9 and 10 of Season 2 we didn't get. 😅
