Well I just got a call from my doctor saying that my heart is back to how it was when I had my heart attack. I’m told to not do anything physical that raises my heart rate and blood pressure, for fear of having another heart attack. It could be worse though, I could already be dead. So that’s a win.

So I’m apparently banned from a local wrestling promotion, because I questioned their decision to book and promote two wrestlers who have had multiple sexual assault allegations, some of which included minors, that got both of them fired from the WWE. Great times in the Kansas City wrestling scene.

I got my first concussion in over a decade, by getting hit in the head by a ski that fell out a rack. It hits a lot harder in my 40’s than it did in my 20’s.

When I was lying on my bathroom floor, 2 years ago, knowing I was dying from a heart attack, I wasn’t scared at all, it was one of the most peaceful moments in my life. Now that none of the 10 cardiologists I’ve seen in the last 3 months, have any idea what’s wrong with my heart, it’s really scary.

30 years ago today, I stepped onto the snow and strapped into a set of snowboard bindings for the first time. I’ve spent over a thousand days on snow in that time and got to live the dream of so many people, by making a living out of my love for this art form, for nearly half my life.
