This fall I'll begin a Visiting Assistant Professor position at Pacific University, teaching env. studies, GIS, soil/water, and fire ecology. After this year I'll be looking for permanent positions, fall 2027. Please keep me in mind for opportunities to teach forest/fire ecology, env. science, etc!

I'm thrilled to share that my first first-author paper has been published in the Association for Fire Ecology's Fire Ecology journal. This project couldn't have been completed without the support of my collaborators, field assistants, and staff at UC Santa Barbara's Sedgwick Reserve🔥🌳 rdcu.be/ffQSU

I'm excited to announce that I graduated with my PhD from the Bren School at @ucsantabarbara.bsky.social this past week. My dissertation was on fire ecology and using prescribed fire as an management tool in California foothill oak woodland ecosystems. Very grateful for the opportunity! 🌳
