Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 2hThis to be an over reaction by everyone. Plagues /pandemics are interesting to read about but …. 000
Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 2hRestrictions were tucked in reporting last weekend/monday. Taiwan’s actions are floating up in media again yesterday and today. May not be new surveillance but independent statements from Taiwan. If pneumonia of unknown origin increases - we will know where to look. Hopefully not. I’m hoping for 100
Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 2hThe cause of death was “pneumonia of unknown origin.” She worked in a plague research facility. Plague was a reasonable assumption. Plus Russia’s early reports called it pneumonic plague. It’s a keep watching situation because of the ACTIONS of other governments. The China and Taiwan border 100
Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 2hBut note China and now Taiwan’s actions on whatever this disease was. the article I saw said Taiwan was “ monitoring social media reports” of the spread of whatever contagion killed the lab worker - both China and Taiwan tightened border security. Disinformation? Panic? Or intel we don’t know about? 110
Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 12/10/2026New Reports China has increased surveillance of the Mongolian border - from Chinese media. It was reported out of of Mongolia last week. But we will all go with your assessment- none of these other countries could possibly know more than you. 000
Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 12/10/2026For fun. Yup- fun. Your books were never suggested btw. If you don’t want people to respond to your posts- don’t post. This is social media. I never claimed to be a plague expert. 100
Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 12/10/2026Engaging in interactions to assess information flow. I’m disabled - I don’t publish. I’ve also owned businesses, written for Courts and the early internet, been involved in a startup in the early days of data collection and guess what- I sell beads. I’ve also done a whole lot of research on Pandemic 100
Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 12/10/2026Destabilization and International response becomes a source for crucial information. It’s a multi faceted , cross speciality assessment. I have a law degree. Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 12/10/2026Minimizing the situation and minimizing Russian biological weapons development. Hopefully this contagion was contained. Given the 3 week isolation period imposed by the Russian government, we are not out of the woods yet. It’s about what “ CAN” happen. That’s where global disinformation campaigns, 100
Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 12/10/2026Traffic out of Mongolia ( which is increasing their global tourism and cashmere trade - did you know about that? ) After Covid we saw a 1 percent global death rate with shutdowns. Institutional confidence in this country is at a low. Additionally the information out of Russia was shut down. You were 100
Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 12/10/2026I don’t know. You’re the one attacking. I merely think any pneumonic plague outbreak should not be minimized and if it’s not plague - Russia should be open about what it was especially given their history of biological research, the global travel patterns out of this area and the increased global 100
Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 12/10/2026You’re a sweetheart. You couldn’t defend your position from arguments against a bead seller and an anonymous Plague account and a bead seller. With all your credentials a bead seller got under your skin. Did you know about the international response? The state Department’s assessment of biological 200
Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 12/10/2026Btw 2017 pneumonic plague outbreak in Madagascar show what the pneumonic plague CAN do. Check the WHO website for details. Over 200 deaths. Take that out to multiple infection sites and you may get why people are concerned. Then toss in a country that weaponizes disease. 100
Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 12/10/2026Extensive reading and courses I’ve done on plague. Talk to your agent. Your google results aren’t hitting the mark. Learn to talk to real people- I’ve done advocacy on social media for 15 years or more now. We like to hide in plain site. 110
Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 12/10/2026Communicating with your students? Don’t assume. Stick to professional settings if you cannot see beyond the surface. You can always pay people to give you the unchallenged respect you need. I guess a bead seller got your goat with a little help from a Plague account. Btw your books never came up on 110
Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 12/10/2026Actually law, communication, writing, bead selling, plague education, review of social media, close attention to international activities, business, and maybe some more activities. Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 12/10/2026You downplayed Russian biological weapons programs. That is how this started. I pointed out their programs have been assessed as alive and kicking by the State Department. Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 12/10/2026? Do you post for discussion or merely to exercise your own ego? 100
Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 12/10/2026This I agree with. That is why I looked to the international community for larger context. I don’t immediately disregard the Expertise of Of European nations. That is an exercise in American Exceptionalism. 110
Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 12/10/2026Not all of us share our experience. If you do- be prepared to defend your experience. If all you can do is ad hominem attacks - you are not reading the content just attacking the messenger. 100

Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 12/10/2026Official story doesn’t add up. Breakable test tubes are not used. If that is what happened- immediate treatment should have been administered and more. When the details of the official story is suspect - it’s best to suspect more. 200
Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 12/10/2026Siberia are being screened in the US according to the Trump admin. Our govt thinks something was released. It’s a serious situation. Time will tell. Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 12/10/2026The US Embassy in Moscow has a recommendation for US citizens to leave confirmed as of Oct 8. ) If a contagion has escaped and was not contained new cases should appear outside Siberia. Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 12/10/2026Place to hide illegal activity is in plain site. Early reports indicate the Russian government shut down information on this situation. I’m not searching for open source information- ( I did on Covid found some till the Chinese Govt shut down information) ) 200
Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 12/10/2026Said it was pneumonic plague. Pieces fit - could just be an old school analysis of KGB behavior. A lot of the public distrust of institutions has been accompanied over the last 10 years that the old KGB scientists described as a collateral goal of biological weapons. That having been said - best 100
Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 12/10/2026I’m wondering if it’s a terror campaign- old KBG style. The picture of the dead tech looks like a young feminine version of Putin to me. It could be a classic look in Russia- then the resemblance is just a resemblance. The news was picked up by International news by a story in the Moscow Times that 100
Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 12/10/2026Have a Plague book. I’ll check it out. There hasn’t been a lot of news on the Russian “ plague” case. Hopefully whatever it was - it has been contained. 100
Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 12/10/2026Not sure if you are talking about Fox News or the book. Fox News was convenient. The book - apocalyptic fact/fiction. Not a textbook. Fair amount of the younger crowd doesn’t seem to remember biological weapons- though they sure get uptight about lab funding. ( Covid etc) I remember USSR. I see you 100
Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 11/10/2026Not a fan of Fox News but they have the story and I’m not in the mood to track down the primary State Department assessment. www.foxnews.com/politics/pla...foxnews.comPlague mystery revives concerns over not-to-secret Russian bioweapons programMarshall Billingslea reveals Soviet defector Ken Alibek exposed a massive biological weapons program involving antibiotic-resistant plague research. 100

Kelly @kblog.bsky.social · 09/10/2026She sold out. They all sold out. Any of the professionals who could get employment outside of the government should not be respected. I get the concept of work within the system- but when the system is rotten the only responsible thing to do is walk away. 000
