I had the best time running my old riso printer and making misprint one of a kind badges for my studios open day 💕

A selection of pin badges made from colourful risographed paper misprints layered with my designs printed on top (also risographed). The designs say: D.I.Y, make art, heart riso and craft goblin.

The excellent @jontofski.bsky.social just reminded me it’s Ian Curtis’ birthday today. And coincidentally I just finished this drawing of him…

A drawing of Ian Curtis from Joy Division. He is dancing with his arms and has his eyes closed. Unknown Pleasures waveforms frame the background.

🔮 Dream Dead Tech 🔮 a freshly printed vision of obsolete gadgets, if a witch designed them in 2002 instead of a shitty tech bro 💭 #Risograph purple, teal and fluoro orange, on my stall at the Great #Leeds Print Fair at the City Museum tomorrow!

An illustrated risograph print, in purple, teal and fluorescent orange inks. There are different handheld devices with weird alien buttons, cartridges and charms. The vibe is “dream dead tech” as though a witch designed gadgets in 2002.

Had an absolute blast designing and illustrating two activity pages for the new issue of #kuriomagazine! Working on some more for the space issue 😬

An activity page from a colourful kids magazine that I illustrated. It features gravity defying Escher-style waterfalls, with dangerous pirates, krakens, hungry fish and sharks. Vapourware colours mmm

An activity page from a colourful kids magazine that I illustrated. A lizard skates through an optical illusion swirly maze to reach their mates at the skate park. Everyone is a lizard.

The excellent folks @alovelytime.bsky.social asked me back to illustrate the poster for this year’s Lovely Weekend festival! It’s another pick-your-fighter style character bonanza (plus the line up is amazing!)

An illustrated poster for A Lovely Weekend comedy festival. A view into a dive bar, with a comedy act on stage, sentient disco ball throwing thumbs up and two speaker stacks with faces and legs. The audience is a bunch of hipsters, aliens and animals drinking beers and sodas and having a laugh. In purples, yellows and reds.
