I appreciate the dlc suggestion, though I don't believe we have much in that regard to offer for this release, on top of some potential licensing issues for commercializing the game. I'm not too experienced in how this stuff works yet.

I keep wondering if it would be worth it to put Void Nemesis - A Night Off on Steam too. It would be free to play either way, but I'm not sure if it would help with the VN's reach and visibility, and if the uploading cost would offset that

A new name for the game project has been in consideration for a long time. Since Apollyon is a place in the setting, and not all projects will even reference it, it didn't feel fitting. So with my first release soon, I'm finally updating the name from Apollyon to Void Nemesis.

Just a quick update! As of today, after some delays, the story is fully playable from start to finish. All that's left to add is the credits sequence, music, SFX, and then any last-minute polishing. I'm hoping to finally release this within the next week or two, so stay tuned! #gamedev #indiedev

Out of all the remaining functions I had planned to program since finishing my draft of the game's script, I managed to complete half of them in a single day. I'm sure I'll find more to throw in before release, but progress has been going incredibly well 🙏 #gamedev #indiedev

Here's a more recent update with the manor foyer! It took a while to put together, and a good amount of help from @jerboadraws.bsky.social with the design. I'm happy with how it came out, and now that I have this done, I'm almost ready to start writing for the first short story release (1/2)

The dialogue system still needs a bit more scripting before it's ready, namely to work with animations, but here's a WIP preview of how it's coming along. I'd also like to post short 1-4 panel stories like this more often now that I have this and some backgrounds to work with 🙏 #gamedev #indiedev
