"I'm fine. I promise." Draco said. "You're not. Don't lie to me." Hermione said, while giving him a look.
Draco sighed, "It's my baby sister. Our father was supposed to pick her up from our house and they were supposed to do stuff but that plan fell through"

"Yikes. That sucks." Hermione said. "Mhm. So now I promised her that I'd come get her and we'd hang out."

A small smile toyed on Hermione's lips. "Why are you smiling? Hm? What are you thinking?"

"Why don't we go pick her up together? I mean what's the harm in that?" Hermione wondered.

"Let's see she's 15 and she's a brat." Draco rolled his eyes. "Oh come on Draco. I'm sure it won't be that bad." Hermione said.

Lacing their fingers together, Draco spoke, "Fine but when she asks all sorts of questions about your music and about you, don't say I didn't warn you."

Hermione let out a soft chuckle, "You do realize my fan base is mostly and I say mostly teens?"
"Right."

Ever since she ran into Draco nearly 10 years ago in rural London, she always knew that they were meant to be together as well.

What she didn't account for was for them to have taken in Draco's cousin, Teddy Lupin. While she knew it was for the best, both her and Draco knew it was what Andromeda wanted since she had gotten older in age and she needed help and ultimately asked Hermione and Draco if they would take Teddy as their own.

"Mummy!" A four year old Teddy Lupin Malfoy Black yelled.

"Hi my sweet boy." Hermione beamed as she bent down and she hugged him.

"It worked," Teddy whispered lowly.

Confused as to what her son meant, she spoke, "What do you mean Teddy bear?"

"My birthday wish! I wished that daddy would come home and he did!" Teddy cheered.

Hermione smiled softly as she ruffled his hair and she fully got a good look at him once more and she realized how much he looked like Draco with the metamorphmagus gene he had inherited from his mother Nymphadora Tonks.

"Our son is very persistent, he is." Draco murmured.

Hermione smiled, "He gets that from your side of the family."

"He does, doesn't he?" Draco grinned cheekily and he leaned in and pressed a kiss on her lips.

"Daddy stop!" Teddy groaned.

Draco chuckled as he began to tickle Teddy. "Mummy help me!" Teddy cried out.

"Oh alright," Hermione smiled as she then began to pepper Teddy's face with kisses.

"I'll be good!" Teddy squeals out.

Both Hermione and Draco share looks at each other before coming to a stop and Draco slowly put Teddy back on the ground.

"Now what was this about a wish?" Draco asked.

"I used my birthday wish daddy and it came true!"
Teddy beamed.

"Oh?" Draco wondered amused.

"He wished for you to come home." Hermione supplied softly.

"Well then, it's a good thing I did hm?" Draco said.

Teddy nodded enthusically.

"Well Teddy bear, why don't you go wash up for dinner? It'll be ready soon." Hermione informed him.

"Are nana Cissa and Papa Lucius coming?" Teddy asked innocently.

"I'm sure that can be arranged." Draco said.

"Yes!" Teddy cheered and he ran off.

"Hm?" She hummed.

"Do you want to know what I just found while bringing the Christmas decorations down?"

"What's that?" Hermione asked as she sat down on the couch in the flat they owned.

Draco held up an ornament.

Hermione immediately recognized the ornament,
"Our first ornament we had made when we moved in here?"

Draco nodded, "Uh-huh. And I thought you'd like to do the honors of hanging it on our tree this year since I did it last year."

"Why don't we do it together?" She asked.

"We can."

The both of them stood in front of their tree and they picked the spot where their ornament would hang.

Hermione sighed and she rested her head against his. "I wasn't waiting long."

"Ready for our date?" Draco asked as he intertwined their fingers together.

Hermione nodded. "Always."

As they walked hand in hand, Draco led her to a table where a house elf was waiting.

"Misses Hermione, Mister Draco! Ready for this evenings?" Topsy asked politely.

"Yes we are." Draco said.

Settling down in the chairs, Hermione and Draco began to talk about their days as the snow began to fall.

"You know what this is like?" Hermione sighed softly.

"What's that love?"

"Our very first date which was 4 years ago." Hermione recalled.

"It is isn't it?" Draco mused.

"It is and I happen to love it." Hermione murmured.

"Yeah I do too. Being in exile for the last 7 years isn't so bad." Draco said.

"Why's that?"

"Because it led me to you."

Life for Draco hadn't always been easy. Growing up with a father who expected him to exceed all of his expectations and then a mother who thrived on making the best of the life they lived, without any consequences. It hadn't been easy, but they made it work even with Draco attending Hogwarts and such.

Things had been different since the war ended and after the ministry sentenced the entire Malfoy family to exile for at least a few years.
And so they made it work with the flat they purchased.

While it wasn't ideal, they had told Draco that he could live with them as long as he learned to do things for himself, which meant like muggles. One might say that Lucius Malfoy must of been imperiused if he thought that doing things the muggle way, was going to be their new normal especially since they were now living in a rural part of London.

Though, Draco didn't mind it. He knew that doing things a certain way would benefit him in the long run.

And that's exactly what he did, with the help of his aunt Andromeda, who was allowed to visit her family with permission from Kingsley himself.
She helped him learn how to cook, clean and even drive.

And this he could admit, he wasn't the best driver but he had gotten better with time.

"Draco? Are you heading out son?" Narcissa asked her son.

"I am actually." He nodded as he pulled on a hoodie.

"With anyone in particular?" Lucius queried.
Draco rolled his eyes at his parents attempt of being nosey.

"Not that it's any of your business but yes."
Narcissa smirked, "Tell her we say hello."
Draco sighed and he bent down to kiss her cheek, "I will mum."

Grabbing his keys, his wallet and his phone, he made his way towards his car and he sent out a quick text message.

Feeling statisfied with the message he sent, he put the key in the ignition and he peeled out the driveway of his parents house.

Twenty minutes pass and he arrived at the lake.
Draco grinned softly when he spotted a familiar car and he opened his car door and walked towards the lake.

"Took you long enough." Hermione grinned and she walked up to him and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Sorry I kept you long pretty girl." Draco murmured as he leaned down and kissed her softly.

Ever since the war ended, Hermione couldn't believe that she was alone or rather that she chose to spend her days and evenings alone.
The one thing that she was grateful for was that she was offered a healer position after she graduated Hogwarts.
She also began to have a romantic relationship with Draco Malfoy after running into him after her shift at St.Mungos.
Some might say that they weren't a good match since they always bicker and argue a lot but what couple doesn't?

"Babe?" Draco murmured bringing her out of her thoughts and musings.
"Hm?" Hermione hummed.
"Are you alright?" He asked her.
"Just thinking" Hermione replied.
"About?" He wondered.
"Us, life while at Hogwarts and then where we are now." Hermione sighed.

"And that's a bad thing?" Draco wondered.
"No. It's just fate." Hermione murmured.
"Fate?" Draco echoed.
"Mhm. We were friends towards the end of our 8th year and then we lost contact and then well here we are six years later. I think I would call it fate." Hermione said.
Draco pulled her close, "Nah, I think we're just meant to be."
"Soulmates?" Hermione wondered.
"Yeah. Soulmates." Draco grinned before he leaned down and kissed her.

"Babe?" Hermione murmured one evening as they were lounging at home.

"Hm?" Draco asked as he was reading the Quibbler which was written by his cousin, Luna Lovegood-Potter.

"We need to decide on a name for the newest Granger-Malfoy." Hermione murmured.

"Do we though?" Draco teased.

"Dracooo." Hermione whined.

Draco chuckled, "Alright my love. What do you got?"
"Well I was thinking maybe we could start a tradition of our own? I know that your family always names their children after constellations."

This piqued Draco's interested a bit. "What are you thinking?" He asked.

"If you are okay with it. I was thinking we could do Greek mythology names." Hermione suggested.

"I think that's a great idea love." Draco agreed.

"Really?" Hermione asked. "Yeah. I think it'll be a great tradition to start for our family" Draco said.

"What do you think about for Ares for a boy and Hera for a girl?" Hermione suggested.

"Hera Granger-Malfoy and Ares Granger-Malfoy? I like it." Draco smiled.

And eight months later, and much to their entire families surprise, two new little ones graced the Granger-Malfoy family.

"Welcome to our family my loves." Draco whispered softly to Ares and Hera as Hermione slept peacefully in her hospital room nearly two hours after giving birth to the twins.

Hermione always dreaded going to Divination.

Why you may wonder?

She always thought that Professor Trelawney was a bit of a kook and a crackpot due to the false prophcies that she would create but today during class it was about her and a certain Slytherin.

"Excuse me?" She asked.

"Is there a problem Ms.Granger?" Professor
Trelawney asked.

"Somewhat yes. Can you please repeat the Prophecy you just read?" Hermione asked once more.

Both Harry and Ron's jaws drop in shock as they knew Hermione dispised Divination.

"You, my dear, will become a well known Healer and will marry a tall blonde Auror who will become Head Auror after a few years" Professor Trelawney said and the entire classroom went silent.

Hermione paled slightly and she glanced at Draco who was sitting next to her with an unreadable expression.
"Professor? May I leave class early? I don't feel good." Hermione lied.

"Of course my dear." Professor Trelawney nodded.

Quickly Hermione gathered her belongings and she exited the classroom and she was unaware that Draco followed her too.

"Granger! Wait up!" Draco called out.
Hermione didn't listen and she picked up her pace in her steps.

"God damn it Hermione! Stop!" Draco yelled out and he had a cast a muffliato before yelling out.

Hermione froze and she turned around. "What?"
She murmured.

"You know I want that just as much. Just because a prophecy is deciding our future, you don't want to let fate decide it?"

Hermione laughed weakly. "I do! I do want fate to decide it but why did have to be during Trelawny's class?"

"You daft witch! It's divination." Draco argued.

"It's rubbish!" She yelled.

Suddenly Draco stalked over to her and pinned her against the wall. "If it's rubbish then why are you taking the class then hm?"

"I-" Hermione stuttered before Draco leaned and kissed her.

Hermione felt herself melt into the kiss and she pulled away and rested her head against his forehead.
"I've waited since fourth year to do that." Draco breathed.
"Took you long enough." Hermione sighed.

"I've accepted a position as Head Healer and one of the few people who's studying Alchemy as a healer." Hermione murmured softly.
"My wife, the youngest healer to ever set foot in St.Mungos." Draco beamed as he scooped her up and spun her around.
"Draco!" Hermione laughed out.
Setting her back on her feet, he leaned in and kissed her softly.
Resting her forehead against his, Hermione let out a sigh of contentment. "This calls for a celebration." Draco declared.

"A little early, don't you think?"
"Nonsense. You, my sweet girl, deserve to be celebrated. I'm sure either my mum or Pansy can throw something together for this weekend."
"You're too good for me, you know that?"
Hermione whispered.
"No. It's you who doesn't deserve me but somehow you've learn to love me." Draco said.
"So you what that means with me being head healer now?" Hermione smirked.
"What's that?" Draco wondered.
Hermione leaned in and she whispered, "I'm your boss."

Recently I was able to catch a glimpse at Best Selling Author Hermione Granger and Renowned St.Mungos Healer Draco Malfoy who seemingly be enjoying an evening out.

Some might say that even after years of Hogwarts rivalry and after being on opposite sides of the war, fate has both these two together.

Although the two might not want to admit just yet, but it may seem that there was a romance budding during their school years.

I may be wrong who knows? But rest assured I do intend on getting Healer Malfoy and Ms.Granger together for an interview at a later date!

The Astronomy Tower.

She hadn't been to the Astronomy Tower in years since their graduation at Hogwarts.

Not since her and Draco first got together nearly ten years ago.

Some might say it was full of memories. Full of learning Astronomy.

But to Hermione? It was so much more than that.
It was where she and Draco had their first date when they were only fifth years and where they said I love you during their seventh year.

But now? It was the place where they had gotten engaged and then where they secretly wedded with the permission of Minerva in such a small yet intimate ceremony with only Luna and Harry as witnesses and Kinglsey as the officiant.

Years passed and it had become the place Hermione and Draco would return to if one just needed a place to think or just to look at the stars.

And when the time finally came, they brought their first child, Aster Granger-Malfoy to see where his parents story began and it was all thanks to the little question Draco asked as a fifth year which was 'Hey Granger, aren't you taking Astronomy?'
