Does anyone know of upcoming writing pitch events (here on bluesky and IG) for January and February? I always have so much fun participating in them, but sometimes don't hear of them until the day of.

Lured by the ethereal call of Neoma, the Dreamweaver, Merrick learns of a familial curse that will end his life if he can’t reach the city beneath the sea in time to break it; that’s if the siren who wants to end his family line doesn’t get to him first. #A #CF #F #Latine #Native #WOC #DVPIT

Talking to the moon is the perfect song for Merrick. It's swoony and depicts the slow burn between he and the Dreamweaver. Sanctuary is perfect for Neoma as she's often left fending for herself. Finally I choose me is the perfect song for, [redacted], the villain who puts herself first. #dvparty

Yesterday I also shared the first line of my next project, DICE AND DAGGERS. I plan to focus on this story over the spooky season and I absolutely love these characters and the setting (think haunted manor in the Pacific Northwest).

1stlinepit. Dice And Daggers. What I'd thought had been a dream, festered into a nightmare, blistering with the type of wounds that never heal. A gothic horror novel by Kayla Martinez Foster.

Submission for 1stlinepit. Currently drafting Project Huntress by Kayla Martinez Foster.

The rot creeps across the land and somehow I'm still alive in a world meant for the dead.

#PosterPit #W #NA #F #R #PiratesWIP During her world tour, Captain Holloway is captured by pirates. After encountering an assassination plot, a magical curse, an unlikely romance, and an imminent war, she finally takes a side. The wrong side. It's all Captain Falcon's fault.

The text in the image reads: "Magic, mutiny, romance, and a six-month deadline. What could possibly go wrong?" "Dual POVs, sentient oceans, vengeful ghosts, magical curses, enemies to lovers, and lovers to enemies." "He has a curse to break. She has everything to prove." "Sail By Dawn, a new-adult fantasy novel by award winning author E. M. Kerkman." The background image is of a sailing ship on a stormy sea with dawn light shining from behind it. It is a paining titled "Bird of Dawn" by Montague Dawson.
