As a federal judge said in court last week, "This is not an abortion case, it is a supremacy clause case." The U.S. DOJ had sued, arguing Idaho's law conflicted with U.S. law (i.e., supremacy clause). But Trump dropped that lawsuit. So now, a local hospital system is making its argument.
