Throwback to my first session with @kayace.bsky.social in Feb 2020. I'd made a skirt of many strips of fabric in the color range I wanted, but didn't like the way it looked in the photos and ended up painting in PS. I'm tempted to revisit. (more) #photography #behindthescenes #studiolighting

To Sieve Futures, featuring @kayace.bsky.social I have a split interest in my photography and digital art: on one side fantastical, on the other side more figurative. And of course there's blending. But if you're following me for one, just realize you're also getting the other along the way.

The Dryad series from 2023 with @kayace.bsky.social, from one of those times I get out and experience the challenges of the sun shifting between clear and bright and nicely softened by clouds. :) I think I'm a studio photographer at heart. #artnude #dryad #artisticnude #artmodel #photography

In my backyard 💚🌿💛

A woman stands on a narrow path surrounded by lush green plants. She is wearing a floor-length yellow skirt and a white off-the-shoulder crop top. She gazes upward as she touches her hair

A glimpse behind the scenes with Kay modeling and Susan as MUA and general wonderful assistant. In the small space the atmosphere aerosol (aka "atmosphere in a can") works well. Model: @kayace.bsky.social MUA: Susan Fossa #studiobts #studiophotography #photography #bts #behindthescenes

Now that @kayace.bsky.social is here it's time to post the image that's on my profile with her. This concept came from a couple rounds of planning, including some sessions with some but not all of the pieces, before we got to do the whole thing. Makeup by Susan Fossa

Kay appears to be climbing out of an old army footlocker chest marked "Do Not Open" with a crazed smile, wearing a bright red half jacket, hat, and with her red hair braided. The background has an haze of smoke, and the whole image is toned red and purple.

Welcome @kayace.bsky.social to Bluesky. Given your first posts, I think it's only appropriate to share "Bound Hope" from 2023. So many more to share from our years of working together. #photography #fantastical #photoshop #elfqueen #rope

A woman in a white dress looks up mournfully to the sky, her arms and chest bound in black rope. The image is moonlight blue toned, with an subtle floral backdrop.

Gonna start posting some of my faves!

Kay is being photographed behind-the-scenes from the back, wearing a white dress with a black shibari tie binding her arms behind her. She has elf ears on, long wavy hair and a playful expression with her tongue out
