Littleson‘s got a new haircut and is ashamed and very worried to go to school on Monday. I wish he could look at himself from the perspective he’s going to have in a few years and see how beautiful he is. The same applies to any other struggling preteen or teen.

My husband and I call our cats "nap vampires". Put a cat on our laps, or even sleeping nearby on the sofa or ottoman, and a 15-30 minute nap gradually engulfs all others in the room. This includes other cats.

Mein Vater hat meine Mutter früher manchmal halb scherzhaft Märchentante genannt und meinte damit ein Zuviel an Phantasie und zu wenig Pflichtgefühl, was natürlich Quatsch ist. Ich liebe sie sehr dafür, dass sie wichtige Pflichten von unwichtigen zu unterscheiden weiß. ❤️
