These people do not appreciate that we are doing them a favor by being very clear about what they can do to earn our support. If they don’t want it, that’s their call. But they can’t say they weren’t told.

You and I both know you don’t actually care about whether her attackers reoffend. In fact, if they do, you’ll have more survivors to attack for not behaving the way you think they should after surviving sexual violence.
