Izuku is pathetic and clingy and obscenely desperate. He hangs off of Katsuki’s arm the whole day at the beach, barely parts long enough to greet their friends, and insists far too frequently to re-apply Katsuki’s sunscreen with an unnerving intensity behind his blown pupils.
Katsuki offers his typical half-baked complaints, but he still rolls over when Izuku nudges at him, melting slightly under his crooked, shaky hands as they rub lotion into his posterior deltoids. He doesn’t say anything about the ragged pulls of air Izuku takes just above his nape or the tensing of Izuku’s thighs on either side of his hips.
The truth is that Izuku is pathetic and clingy and obscenely desperate and Katsuki is grossly into it. Izuku loving on him like a dog begging for its owner attention does things to him. Katsuki knows it sounds bad. He knows it seems sadistic at best, evil at worst.
It’s a dynamic, though. Or something. He read about it, one night when he couldn’t sleep and Izuku was wrapped around his waist like a horny, anxious limpet. What they have is a certain kind of arrangement where one of them is on top and the other is on the bottom. Not like sex, though. Like in terms of social hierarchy. Romantic hierarchy? Something.
What Katsuki means is that Izuku wants to be a dog. Izuku is into being a human dog. Psychosexually. And Katsuki is into the complementary side of that brain damaged deal.
Putting it that way is simple. The pull between them is magnetic, same as always, in all areas of their lives. Two sides of a whole.
Izuku is a dog. He loves Kacchan with the uncomplicated, singleminded devotion of a pet to its owner.
And Katsuki…what? He…
…Fucks…the dog?
Okay. Yeah, okay, it sounds bad.

It sounds bad, but Izuku is game. Izuku wants it like that. So it’s probably not bad. Regardless, it’s what they’ve got. Kacchan and Deku, fucked up and tied together in that fucked-up-ness from cradle to grave.
“C-can I do your front now, Kacchan?” Izuku pants against his ear. His voice quavers slightly, hitched with poorly suppressed excitement. He sounds less like a boyfriend and more like a pervert.
Fuck, he’s so creepy, Katsuki thinks as he grunts, turning over under Izuku’s body. Glossy eyes greet him, slightly unfocused over a parted, glistening mouth. His cock twitches at the sight, chest tightening. “Well?” he says. “What’re you waiting for?”
Izuku blinks. He swallows audibly. He slowly uncaps the bottom, squirting more sunscreen into his hands and rubbing them together to warm it up.
Katsuki tracks the motion of his hands, the subtle tremor of his wrists as they descend on him.
Izuku touches him like it’s the first time, every time. Like it’s something he shouldn’t be doing. Like he’s clawing at every scrap of Katsuki he can get. He’s as entitled as he is worshipful.
Katsuki is into it. Obviously. They sleep in the same bed. With all the positives and incredibly irritating negatives that entails.
How would he begin to explain the kind of rapturous feeling he gets when Izuku eats out of his hand? How that’s a typical weeknight for them, Izuku kneeling beside his chair in the kitchen, tongue splayed like he’s about to receive communion. How Katsuki plucks the meat from his plate between forefinger and thumb with a rare delicacy. How touching Izuku’s tongue feels like touching something larger than either of them. How it feels like taking as much as it feels like giving. How it feels like trust.
How it feels like love.
