Can you fix significant damage to a 3D printed prop in just 5 minutes?? Probably not, and if you can, tell me how. 😂 Seriously though, damage to props happens. Disappearing the damage can be done, but it'll take hours instead of minutes to make it go away. Save yourself time and do this instead!

Today marks one year of low dose testosterone use, as a nonbinary person. Accidentally & somewhat miraculously, I was beautifully captured me almost exactly one year apart at @opensaucelive.bsky.social, providing me with the perfect side by side comparison to look at. The changes aren't dramatic, but that is my intention. I am happy with the changes so far! Being visible like this is a scary but deliberate choice. I believe in representation, especially when there is so little of it. If this helps even one person feel seen, then I feel that it is worth it. 💜

As a nonbinary person, my gender doesn't align with what it was at birth, but there also isn't a clear destination. I identify as agender, which makes it challenging to look how I feel. Low dose testosterone is letting me nudge my features towards the murky middle of the gender binary.

Resin printing is AWESOME but it can be DANGEROUS if done incorrectly. And one of the things you want to avoid is printing in a tiny room with no ventilation. ☠️ Then what do you do if want to resin print? Invent something to make it safe. Or borrow from me. 😉 github.com/katzcreates/...

Yea, I think these things depend heavily on need! I did a lot of research, and since the size of my enclosure space is relatively small, this little inline should be more than powerful though, even for some sanding and painting. Bigger spaces and different work requires more suction for sure.

As you may already know, my workshop is very small, and since it lacks a way to vent outside, I've had to design a custom recirculating ventilation cabinet that could fit into the corner of my workshop. While unassuming on the outside, this project has had a lot of design and engineering go into it!

A messy workshop that is quite small and full of 3D printers and filament.
