I am a journalist that covers women's and LGBT issues. A recent quote from you in the BBC says "only biological females (i.e. those born with ovaries) may play in open age matches and competitions that are reserved for women". I will be covering this shortly.

Can you confirm whether this means that cis women born without ovaries are also banned from competing with other women? Are women who have had their ovaries removed required to prove that they were born with ovaries? What is the test used for that? Can you also confirm whether cis men born with ovaries are allowed to compete with women? Even if they went through male puberty? Can you confirm if people born with ovotestes or a combination of ovaries and testicles are allowed to compete with women?
