UPDATE: YouTube: I found what I needed to do. I needed to flip a switch off. All: "Sort of" figured out the encoder side. I should have verified the video path before going live; automation was working fine; video transit was not. New start time coming soon.

PROGRAMMING UPDATE: ALL STEAMS: I need to find out why my video wasn't going out. That will need to be fixed before any streams go out. YOUTUBE STREAMS: I don't stream vertical, but YouTube wants me to do it anyway with the way things are set up. I need to fix these.

After changing out a motherboard, after having used a WiFi connection to connect to the Internet to limp until I got a replacement board, it SERIOUSLY hosed my networking setup. A network reset and reconfiguring four network connections with their statics and I'm good to go.

Classic Rock Time with Katt Phloxworthy Remember when I'd mentioned I looked at my late father's (now my) copy of "Revolver" by the Beatles? Happy 60th birthday! It was released on August 6th, 1966 by Parlaphone and August 8th (60 years ago yesterday) by Capitol Records.

Ugh, this was no way to start my weekend, but it ended up being necessary. With a heat wave starting, I ended up having to troubleshooting my car's air conditioning. Turns out I was running it DRY. TWO WHOLE CANNISTERS OF R1234YF STILL DOESN'T SEEM TO BE ENOUGH!

I think I've found the upper limit of this card. I had it set for eight video tracks in OBS Studio. Apparently, it was a bit too much for the card. I'll back it down to six tracks and try another stream tonight. More soon! #ENVTuber #VTuberEN #VTuber #VTuberUprising

I'm going to try another go, this time, disabling the 5G connection so I don't have to deal with the NAT rules possibly not working right. Trying again at 7:00pm PDT/10:00pm EDT/0200 UTC twitch.tv/kattphloxworthy youtu.be/eWttgjHXjDM

For those of you who use Linux in some way, shape or form: Do you any of you use Flatpak? Any advantages or drawbacks? I'm more used to either system-level packages or building stuff myself. Anyway, any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Also, I'm NOT a beginner!

Well... that was unpleasant... It crashed twice, so I'm doing something a little different. I've swapped the critical parts of the streaming PC with the parts of the VTuber PC, so now, I'm doing an overnight smoke test to see if the system crashes overnight. More tomorrow!

I think I finally fixed my encoder setup. What I ended up doing was updating Windows from Windows 11 24H2 to Windows 11 25H2. Result: It streamed flawlessly for an hour and a half, only stopping when I pressed Stop Stream!

I'm afraid that the next few streams are going to be more "engineering streams" so I can figure out what's happening with this computer. Next, I'm going to try running with some different memory from one of the other systems here to see if it makes a difference. More soon.

It's a fun day when you not only were able to pay some bills and even splurge a little on a new video card, though it IS a GeForce RTX 5060 8GB card, AND still have some money left over. ABOUT that card... I'm not playing games with this card. In more ways than one. :3

Remember the other night when I was having weird stream problems? Particularly, why it sounded kinda crappy on the sound? Well, I found out. The encoder PC's 10-gigabit card, a 4-lane PCIe Gen3, while running AT Gen 3, only was using ONE lane! I hope I won't need a new card.
