gamecube / wii need better mod stuff in general 😭 you could only use mods for wii games on hardware and if you had a disc for some stupid reason????? i think gamecube modders used xdelta patchebut proper mod managers for both systems would be SO nice

holding out hope that someone will make a port to modern systems without AI...

to my knowledge the gamecube wii and wii u all do use PowerPC architecture which would make them way closer to home computers...would explain why modding it is a lot easier lol

if youre wondering how i bricked my wind waker HD save i did a sequence break to skip the first cutscene with the magic blue rock im forgetting the name of which causes the game to softlock like 2 dungeons later (3 if you count forsaken fortress 1)

yeah i love the more contrasting tones of the gamecube version over HDs bloom...i do like all the funny bugs in both though so i can play either or (you can probably guess how that lead to me bricking my save)

I never even beat the game since the last time I played before we lost the disc was on the Wii U version a few years later and I managed to brick my file #lol

I grew up watching my parents play this game and I've NEVER seen this happen ever...I know I wouldn't be happy about that either LOL justified face
