two things about lists i got added to: 1. i am most certainly *not* pro-AI; in fact, i think it does more harm than good, and i encourage resistance against its unchecked development 2. if you compare a rape victim to her rapist over a tool you dislike, you’re objectively a piece of shit. fuck you.
A Bluesky moderation list titled "Artificial Intelligence People", with the description "For personal use. Mostly AI enthusiast and AI related people with a decent following that still thinks its benefits outweighs the consequence or a heavy user themselves. As you know, it's safer to assume they don't care about other people's consent (or human rights in general)."A Bluesky moderation list with the name "AI, Crypto, & Ratcult Shitheads" and no description.

that's literally how thought neurologically works. we think in language, which loops to be “heard” by our brains, which we respond to in a self-iterative monologue by generating a new thought in language. look up the phonological loop.

but we have better already. Leaflet does education much better than slapping ugly, distracting, unnecessary buttons everywhere.

apparently even saying that was slightly too much nuance for people on Bsky to handle. 🫠 haven’t even been added to a modlist yet. this is all manual lmao

does the presence of real cream not just make it really weak butter? i can’t believe I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter! is butter
An image of two stacked boxes of "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!" margarine on a grocery store shelf.
The product is of the "Extra Creamy" variety, featuring a large blue and white logo over a swirl of yellow spread. A red hand-drawn circle highlights the text "with Fresh Cream!" located beneath the main brand name.

heartbreaking: this major regional newspaper (@richmond.com) only just learned what the word “debate” means.
A Richmond Times-Dispatch headline reading “Views clash at Kaine-Cao Senate debate”.

I made a warm colour theme with full specification. Digital Rust is a warm, tech-dystopian color scheme inspired by corrupted hardware and failing systems. I hope you like it! digitalrust.katsuricata.com

hey y’all don’t think my Uni customization is too much, right? #Neopets
A pastel-colored, unicorn-like Neopet called a Uni is featured in a vibrant, neon cityscape at night. The Uni has a lavender coat, rainbow mane and tail, translucent iridescent wings, and a glowing horn. It wears an ornate ruffled dress with teal lace trim and a jeweled necklace. Bright musical notes, treble clefs, and sparkles swirl around it in a magical aura. The background includes glowing signs that read "CYBUNNY SLURP," "NEON," and "www.neopets.com" with various neon animal silhouettes and symbols. The scene is colorful, whimsical, and saturated with a futuristic, cyber-fantasy aesthetic.

You know, I can be an indecisive person, but I’m not sure I’ve ever been “needs 30 years just to make sure I don’t regret it” indecisive.
A confirmation pop-up for an account deletion request, reading “Schedule Your Deletion: To avoid account abuse and minimize regret, your account will be permanently deleted after a reactivation period. Your user profile will be inactive during this period.” The two options given are 30 days and 30 years.

the new Five Nights at Freddy’s movie looks great
A skeleton figure is posed casually on a wooden porch, with one leg crossed over the other as it leans against the railing. It is dressed in a yellow cropped T-shirt that reads "Chuck & Cheese's Pizza Time Theatre" in red lettering. The skeleton is positioned near a black front door with a small red heart sticker on it. The porch has wooden beams and is surrounded by potted plants with green foliage. In the background, there’s a red wooden fence, a light-colored building, and a small section of a chain-link fence visible, giving the scene a playful and quirky vibe.
