She's very up on most of the movies you'd watch (and has seen Grave), but she never watched most TV anime, and has a gigantic gap of 80s/90s stuff.

Haha, Lain is the next one. Going for maximum psychic damage.

My wife asked me to fill in some of her gaps in classic anime, and... well, we just got through all of Evangelion. I'm not sure she trusts me after that. 😂

I know what all of these words mean individually, but I don't think I qualify for any of them. I'll take option 4?

Not for the card itself, but for the shirt in the art:

New Deafheaven music AND an extended cut of the new Carly Rae Jepsen album? New music Friday is being very kind to me.

Had a visitor last night. We hear owls in our trees all the time, but this is the first time I managed to see one of them. And of course my phone wanted to focus on the fence.

I caught their set in Portland a few months back, and it was awesome. Closing out with a cover of Venom's Black Metal was an 11/10 experience.

Yeah, as an actual Shin Megami Tensei fan, I would like to see the older titles kept as-is. I love modern Persona, but those are different games. For me, I would be extremely happy to see a Strange Journey PC port.

110

Mike Katsufrakis @katsufrakis.com · 13/09/2026

If they did that, I'd want it to be a simple port because Persona 1 and both halves of 2 would require so much work to modernize them that they'd be unrecognizable and just make their fans angry.

110

Mike Katsufrakis @katsufrakis.com · 11/09/2026

Yes, but he had a 4-string on a stand next to him. From my ear, I could only hear one note in the bassline that would potentially require the B string. Just a stray thought, don't mind me...

Mike Katsufrakis @katsufrakis.com · 11/09/2026

Couple thoughts: - Man, her voice has aged nicely - A 5-string bass for that song? Really?
