sadly non-canon, but is a concept i think about often. a AU where his parents where properly judged and sentenced for attempted murder and child endangerment and neglect. where him and his partner can just move on and be normal teens/young adults for the most part.

i have a character who i invision that under different circumstances, he would come across a stray dog who had the same injury as him (missing eye), and adopts him. maybe in a world where the system doesn't fail him and he's able to not pursue a twisted justice for what happened to him.

I know someone may argue "people said the same about machines in the older days!" And yeah, but those weren't reliable on their own for long and only affected a certain few groups of workers. In the end they needed humans. And actually ended up Assisting rather then Replacing.

Companies rather pay for a Artifical Intelligence rather then Pay a Human to do the job. Some kids are using it to learn when in reality all it's doing is giving information it was fed, which can easily be wrong. Some people rather get some soulless rip-off rather then support someone for quality

Instead of being used to assist and help with the little things, it's being used to basically replace about everything. Artists, Musicians, Writers, Doctors, Teachers, hell even Human Interaction. Weather or not it's intending to, it is slowly doing that. It's being used to Replace not to Assist.

One of my biggest concerns with AI isn't entirely how it's being used to replace creativity. Even though that is a big one. It's that so many companies are full send relying on it to be the "next big change that will solve all our problems" by forcing it onto us and used in ways it shouldn't be.

The main reason I never get into the Pokémon TCG is purely because of Scalpers. And the Paul Brothers. I love playing MTG, especially simce most cards are reasonable. Are pricey because they're either Really Rare or Really Strong. I want fav PKMN Art Cards, but the prices aren't really worth it...
