Hmmmm I see, ich wusste nicht, dass das passieren kann... Vielleicht struggel ich deshalb jetzt so sehr mit der Straßenlaterne. Das wäre natürlich echt irgendwie weniger praktisch.

Dieses Jahr hittet es mich auch extra hart. Die letzten Jahre hat mir tatsächlich ein Lichtwecker geholfen, das ist dieses Jahr nicht so ganz passend, weil ich mit Schlafmaske schlafen muss, da direkt vor meinem Fenster eine Straßenlaterne steht. Aber vielleicht könnte es dir auch helfen?

Zu 1000%. In meinem Hinterkopf sind immer noch Ideen für Magnus Archives RPG Dinge set in einer fiktiven Kleinstadt bei Bonn. Bei fiktiven Städten kann man halt auch einfach dazudichten was man gerade noch so braucht.

Irgendwie muss man ja den Tankrabatt gegenfinanzieren. Es ist einfach nicht mehr zu fassen. Die Klimakatastrophe eskaliert weiter und diese Bundesregierung will Sprit günstiger machen und den ÖPNV teurer. Man kann Klimaschutz nicht aufschieben!

Aber die Stadt ist unglaublich schön, ich hatte drei sehr schöne Tage, und es hat mir wirklich, wirklich gut getan wieder in einer Stadt zu sein wo man regelmäßig über Gebäude stolpern kann, die wesentlich älter sind als 100 Jahre. Ich hätte nie erwartet, dass mir das in einer Stadt so wichtig ist.

Ist aber auch teurer als erwartet. Und dass ich keine einzige obdachlose Person gesehen habe und niemand irgendwo gebettelt hat ist vermutlich eher ein Symptom von menschenfeindlicher Innenstadtpolitik als von einem funktionierenden Sozialsystem.

Musste vorhin daran denken dass es auf dem Nintendo für eine super kurze Zeit mal eine App gab die einen hat Briefe an seine Freunde schreiben lassen die aussahen wie kleine Powerpoints. Still miss that one.

My Rage Against the Machine/Les Mis mashup is complete. This is my interpretation of the quilt guild’s summer challenge “quilt with your interpretation and/or feelings towards our current ‘democracy’” all hand stitched.

Quilt hanging on a card catalog. Neutral background with navy cursive appliqué “Do you hear thr people sing?” The background is embroidered in red starting light and getting bolder the lyrics to “killing in the name” the quilting effect is a focused sunburst from the center.

Die Bachelorstudentin hat heute casually gedropped dass sie erst ein einziges Mal in ihrem Leben ein echtes Schloss / eine echte Burg gesehen hat. Das war das erste Mal, dass ich wirklich Kultur-schockiert war, und es ist literally einfach nur Norddeutschland.
