This time last week was PhD day on campus! PhD students @irenearahal.bsky.social and Justin Moll gave excellent presentations at our research seminar, before the opening of the new LSS PhD office later in the afternoon which was also well attended by department staff 🥳🍕

(1/3) I’ve tried to take some time to process this but it still feels like a nightmare. On the 19th of December, Gemma Devonish was murdered by her partner of 10 years in a vicious and sustained attack. She was a much adored teacher and taught me for 7 years.
