I finished both Wind and Truth, and Quicksilver yesterday, and the book hangover is so real. I thought I'd treat myself to a lighthearted holiday romance audiobook, only to discover it's NOT LIGHTHEARTED. The love interest DIES before she can even tell him she loves him, too. My fucking heart.

Freya was so good for her appointment today. We finally got her in for some tests, and turns out little miss is diabetic. I'd love to hear any advice from other diabetic cat owners as we embark on this new journey. I'm sure we'll navigate this just fine, but it feels a little overwhelming.
