my friend teddy who was helping me with the booth snapped this picture of me crying when chris from the organizer team came over to tell me i'd won the award. it really means so much to me 😭

it's frustrating to me that people are generally more ok with AI use for code because people don't consider programming an art. as if this chunk of code doesn't contain my unique voice. as if an AI could get silly with it like this

I have a font that I use in CryptidCam that I made myself based off my handwriting, because I thought it'd be a fun personal touch. I use it sparingly because I know it's not as readable as a classic font, but I still get notes sometimes from players like "this one font sucks. the rest are fine"

ive spent over a week trying to get to the bottom of a controller issue that was only showing up in my linux builds only to find out that steam lets you just run windows builds on linux with no fuss. like it just works theres no need to make a separate linux build at all

i didnt draw attention to this on the steam page because im trying to keep it relatively profesh over there, but a lot of my drawings of mothman from this era feature him holding a joint. in college this was the height of comedy to me

CryptidCam doesn't use any generative AI, not even for placeholders. I use good old fashioned copypasta for that
