4/6 Apparently, listening to StarTalk occasionally has qualified you as an astrophysicist. At one point, you take a shower just to escape everyone, only to find yourself surrounded by some sort of government-ops-type person demanding answers about SPACE THINGS YOU DO NOT KNOW.

2/ I taught myself to read before kindergarten. By fifth grade I was reading War and Peace. By middle school I was quietly borrowing my mom’s historical romances. Somewhere in there, I read a family saga called Queenie. I remembered how it made me feel. I didn’t remember her last name.

What to Wear to the Last Party on Earth Not black. The sky’s already wearing that. Sequins, maybe… so when the ash falls it looks intentional. Shoes you can run in but look good dying in. A jacket with pockets for pills, a lighter, the letter you didn’t send.
