I'm a shameless promoter cause these are my people. But I think this is a great interview, and you should listen if you are an NWSL fan. Some great nuggets on the youngsters in SD. youtu.be/2ewgutfgl_g?...

Also Becky Sauerbrunn is very good at analysis on TV. Netflix hire her!

The USWNT looked kind of scared until Ashley Sanchez scored. Like where is our bleep you energy? Bring the NWSL after Dark vibes!

Someone enlighten me: with a front 3 of Rodman, Wilson and Thompson why do we need Heaps and Lavelle up there pressing with them?

katiesimons24.bsky.social @katiesimons24.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Academies cost a lot of money to run and if you don’t sell players there is no profit.

I feel like maybe the USMNT didn’t need to play 4 games. Schwake has been solid though.

I got questions about what is going on with USWNT players in Europe. Bring them back. Thanks.

Hat trick hits! * KC first NWSL club to score hat tricks in back-to-back games * Debinha 4th player to score hat trick for 2 clubs, joining Nadim, Kerr & Hamilton * 2026 NWSL regular season has featured more hat tricks (6) than any previous season

This guy is never leaving and will probably get another 5-year contract extension next week.

Except PJ has been playing prevent offense for 8 minutes now which is stupid as hell.

Manchester City you do not deserve Cavan Sullivan.

katiesimons24.bsky.social @katiesimons24.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

They are a Minnesota sports team and they all get people’s hopes up and then disappoint them. It’s why I don’t care the Vikings are 3-0.

You don’t get trophies in the WNBA for winning the regular season.

I do have a small gripe that it's 2026 and expansion sides are still naming themselves Football Club while playing in the Soccer League

I mean, at least Bos Nation is different. Now we are just Boring FC.

Honestly I’ve seen enough. De Zerbi can go. No ideas, no urgency and just constant errors. A whole preseason and all this money spent. This is embarrassing.

Also in NWSL games you actually play in front of fans and hostile crowds. Not just your parents.

katiesimons24.bsky.social @katiesimons24.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

Oh and also North Korea has won the last 2 U17 World Cups and 3 of the last 5.

000

katiesimons24.bsky.social @katiesimons24.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

If people want to be bothered about the US U20s sure okay, but just remember North Korea has won 2 of the last 4 U20 titles. Food for thought.

So Ashley Sanchez won’t get a Ballon d’Or nom then?

It's less a shot at you or anyone else who fits your description in the Woso world I know, and more a critique of a flawed, rigged system. At least players and coaches vote in the FIFA Awards.

110

katiesimons24.bsky.social @katiesimons24.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Just a reminder that most of the people voting for the Ballon d'Or on the women's side are white men from Europe. I can think of a lot of women every where that know more than almost all of them about women's soccer and they don't get a vote.

Blaster the Burro is the best mascot ever. When they score a touchdown the students run with a donkey across the back of the end zone.

I’ve decided that more people on the internet care about Spurs being bad than they care about the team they root for and that’s just weird. Worry about your own damn team. So original.
