Really digging this version of a Wanted poster. (Minus the cop part)
Paper flyer taped to a tree reading:
RECOGNIZE THIS BIGOT?
© 2:05 A.M. 9/7/2026 Arrived under the cloak of darkness. So brave.
~ Entered our private screened-in porch to rip down our LGBTQ+ Pride flag.
Couldn't overpower the flag on his first try. Tried again and, against all odds, conquered the fabric.
After this tremendous display of courage and strength, ran north leaving the property.
_ Appears to be a light/white-skinned male (Nothing oozes "privilege" quite like assuming his opinions outrank property lines. Such a tough guy.)
Wearing jeans, a shirt, and Adidas sneakers. (Breaking stereotypes clearly wasn't on his to-do list.)
His visit, including his face and actions, was captured on video.
This incident has been reported to the CHICAGO POLICE.
As soon as we identify him we will be pressing charges!!!
IF YOU SEE OR KNOW HIM PLEASE CALL the CHICAGO POLICE and give them the report number RD# JK403322
This happened on the first block of Neward Ave between Pratt and North Shore.

I've never seen a librarian be so librariany. Blanche Cretini, at your service.

Highlighted paragraph:
REMOVAL AND EXCLUSION FROM OFFICE
Throughout the U. S. Zone, Military Government Detachments gave priority to and have made commendable progress in the denazification of governmental agencies, and are now making headway in the removal from positions of influence and control of Nazis in private business, the professions and other important jobs.

Really great info in this Chicago Voter Guide. #knowyourcity
A Q&A part of the voter guide website with this:
What if I’m too tipsy to vote because it’s St. Patrick’s Day?
Lucky for you, polls are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. so you can go before you start celebrating. To make voting a breeze, or just in case you had a morning brew, you can fill out your ballot in our “Build Your Ballot” tool above and save it on your phone.

Generally speaking though, showing up at the polls intoxicated is typically frowned upon and you could get in trouble for public intoxication or disorderly conduct. So make sure to plan ahead.

The photos of the raccoons (2) turned into a library meme and then mascot of the union. How else would you advertise staff events?

1. THIS IS NOT ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, it's sensors that have been around for decades. 2. Good job, Phoenix airport.

For years I’ve had this brilliant print by my dad (in 2007!) and every time I look at it I’m like, hoo boy yeah. And now I’m like fuckityfuckfuck.
A grey-ish paper with wavy borders with the phrase “Beware the fascists they will be wrapped in flags and carrying bibles” printed in light colors with wood and metal typefaces. Colophon
This page was printed on the artist's shaped, variable, handmade paper which contains rag fibers including American flag pieces, Bible pages, and cotton half stuff and linter. Unnamed wood types and Alternate Gothic were printed on top of two low-relief gel medium Sandragraph textures. The map and the instructions on this side were printed from polymer relief plates. The image side has 9 colors and 8 runs, count 'em. Printed by John Risseeuw at his Cabbagehead Press May, 2007. Of an edition of 100, this is A/P

👀 I feel like we check these boxes? (From a 1936 publication)
Do You Know What Fascism Means?
FASCISM IN THE UNITED STATES IS
—the destruction of democracy by violence.
—the denial of free speech, free press and free assembly.
—the substitution of the rule of force for the attempt of the people to govern themselves.
-prejudice, intimidation and persecution of Negroes, Jews, and the foreign-born.
—the growing suppression of organized labor.
-preparation for War and exploitation on other lands
—the lowering of the standard of living.
—the use of relief funds for military purposes.

And all this for the sake of preserving profits, property income and the profit system.
Do You Want These Dangers to Grow in Our Country?
If not, do you know what you can do right now to halt
