I’ve had a lot of time to let my mind wander while working on this painting of Skull Rock.After many years of honing my craft I find hours of work go by when I’m not consciously making decisions.The colors mix themselves while my brain gets to make all sorts of interesting connections.

Hot off the easel here's "Pride Tower, Ginger Rogers Beach". Tower 18 on the Santa Monica Bay has an interesting history. In the 1940s it was a gay beach and a refuge for many European expats seeking sun and safety after fleeing from fascism. 30x30 oil on canvas #pride #art #beachart #rainbow
