Since the #election, I've been avoidant of any political thoughts, even though political info has been the focus of my adult life. I understand why people have been checked out, some for years. Life gets hard & the stupidity & complexity of #politics doesn't feel worth the energy- #rationalignorance

I haven't been into using social media for the last 5 or so years-- studying and attempting to counteract harmful algorithmic manipulation and misinformation as my work made me wary of being influenced by random people and wayward seeds of content. + I'm already ridiculously distracted without it
