Paws and Stripes is a local nonprofit located in New Mexico, setting up shelter dogs with veterans diagnosed with PTSD and/or TBI to become service dogs, at no cost to the veteran.

Just got told I was being selfish because I didn’t want to go to the hospital for a tummy bug that will likely ride through my system in a couple days and doesn’t warrant a hospital visit. When we got to the nuts and bolts apparently I needed to get better ASAP so I can help take care of the kids.

A PSA for partners everywhere. If your partner is working PLUS doing side gigs PLUS in school for her masters degree & you come to her (while she is working late after having cooked dinner, ran the dishwasher, & put the food away) to ask “do you even clean the kitchen?” It’s not going to end well.
