built a wonky little stool out of scrap since i have no lower shelves in my closet (i will get built ins eventually, but those are expensive and this was free) and gave it a cute paint job so it looks less wonky

got some cedar for my next project (a raised garden bed) and i feel the same dangerous feeling in my bank account i got the first time i got real wool yarn instead of acrylic cause this stuff sands like an absolute dream

the hummingbirds have been going wild for this tree in my backyard and i decided to finally walk out to it with inaturalist to investigate and found that a) it’s a sumac and b) every nectar loving wasp and ant in the neighborhood is also all over it
