I love this adaptation of Carrie by Mike Flanagan

kates2424 BARRETT FOR AFP @kates2424.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

I hate having to wait next day too. It should be like Love Island and Celeb Traitors and be live on Peacock Plus, without that episode last week I cannot for the life of me remember what is happening

I’m only on episode 2 and it’s a little slow going so far, but I also thought that about Widow’s Bay and ended up loving that .

Somebody who is also watching Below - are these Canadian accents shitty or do I just not know what Canadians sound like ?

First episode of Carrie was very good imo. All episodes out on Prime surprisingly but I won’t be able to watch them all right away.

Mike Flanagan is the only reason I’m watching this new adaptation of Carrie because to me Sissy Spacek will always be Carrie

I’ve been saying Devin reminds me of Jacob Jones a little from then beginning of the season, so I finally searched Jacob Jones; Survivor here to see if I was the only one 😂

Is Rob the new “million hearts” prejury screen hog this season? #Survivor51 #Survivor

This possibly might be the best reality cast ever assembled

Sometimes I accidentally find myself in the Discover TL and not the Following TL and I’m like why am I following this person that is posting loud political memes? If I wanted that I’d go on Facebook

Long ramble over. Mental health care in this country is abysmal and expensive and listening to a bunch of lawyers trying to act like they know how meds and psychosis work pisses me off.

kates2424 BARRETT FOR AFP @kates2424.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

…powerful meds messes with your brain chemistry. I have been on psych meds before and frankly it’s such a guessing game for them on what to put you on, I’m surprised stuff like this doesn’t happen more often. I was put on such a high does of Wellbutrin that it gave me seizures.

kates2424 BARRETT FOR AFP @kates2424.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

I’m listening to coverage of this Lindsay Clancy thing and not even going to talk about the awful crime. I’m going to talk about the awful prosecution of someone who was on multiple psych meds. They compared it to being drunk. No, mixing them having multiple drs taking someone on and off these…

Dear god, I opened the 18 year old memory and it was my sister’s wedding picture to her psycho ex. Thanks, Zuck

Facebook notification on my tablet - it said “look at this remix of your memories from 18 years ago”. And I’m like how the hell does Facebook have anything from 18 years ago for me? Because 2008 is 18 years ago. Excuse me while I go disassociate

I can't believe no one is asking the important questions like have Devens and Drew found out about the fanfictions yet? #bb28

Wait a minute, I thought I was on the highest tier at $15 per month. Am I not gonna have access to the BB2??? I don’t know if I can spring for $25 😭

Random thought before I go to bed: Drew always wore a tie to get nominated several times, but did not wear anything formal to finale night. No shade, just a funny thought that popped in my head #bb28
