The Hymnal 1982 has an even more unhinged 11/8 prog rock hymn “Look there! the Christ, our Brother, comes,” (H82 196) and the notation of it is absolutely absurd. RH is in 11/8, LH is in 3/4 (sort of), then it’s all back and forth between 5/4 and 4/4. But if you can get it together it RIPS.

John Wesley ended his obituary tribute to his brother Charles at the Methodist Conference in 1788: "His least praise was, his talent for poetry: although Dr. [Isaac] Watts did not scruple to say that 'that single poem, Wrestling Jacob, was worth all the verses he himself had written.'"
