The image reads: I do not care what you say—I plan to keep using the em dash. I like—nay, I adore—the em dash. ChatGPT and the like be damned—the em dash is not a mere habit or affectation. It lives rent-free in my very thoughts until it materializes in my writing—and makes you pause and take a breath before you get to the end of the sentence.
