My insurance is through Northwestern University. They moved to UnitedHealth last year. I now pay hundreds each month to see my long time therapist. (And they've made it impossible for me to fill my drugs through my local pharmacy).

And we need to dismantle the idea of a "dream school". Your dream school should be one that has solid programs in your area of interest and allows you to graduate with the least debt. For most students, that's their local state school.

I worked in a chemistry lab during the IFTTT peak. The lab was a world of a million rote tasks. My partner at the time was obsessed with integrating IFTTT into the lab, it never worked.

They aren't unusual, but every summer we get what I call teenage robins. They land on our porch after their first flight from the nest. And they act exactly like human teenagers. They are loud, very uncoordinated, both not scared of us and terrified of us. They act like total doofuses. I love them.

I have friends who have gone through nasty divorces and suffered from "legal abuse". This seems similar. It's gotten to the point that the courts mean nothing for wealthy people. They can jam the system and raise the cost of the case until everyone just wants to give up.

Thank you for your work, it is so crucial. I work at a health science university teaching students about academic integrity. I am having trouble finding the balance between "the science is broken, don't trust anything" and "vaccines work, research will save us, trust the scientists".

2/3 I tried to find a place that wasn't run through AirBnB but it was impossible. The house was not clean, maintained and the pictures were disingenuous. But for them to not interact with customers when their company is that small seems like a TikTok "passive" income wetdream.
