cake actually stole one of my stars and then chance timed the other away within the same turn, and then rawks internet went out which meant we had to reload the game that in turn rewound time to the start of the turn where cake couldnt do it all again because he lacked coins, funniest shit ever

its coming to all platforms :3 Danganronpa 2 makes sense for a remake given its story, the new mode is supposed to be "techically" canon

Maybe a post credit scene that implies more dr stuff is coming in the future? maybe a sequel to slayhams route in specific or something new entirely. this might be hopeful thinking but i do think its an odd thing to say

i may have more to say later but i wanna put my most cracked theory out into the world before its confirmed or denied. at the end of the release date trailer monokuma says "Whether you are a veteran or a noobie, please enjoy this game till the credits roll" ...

I think the most obvious answer for who the new character is that they are an AI sent by the future foundation to help the students. Maybe chiaki dies early (chpt 1?) and they toss this character in to support the cast in her absence

KatDraws❤️COMS OPEN @katdrawsalot.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

it seems like chapter 1 is gonna follow a similar story beat to the original. Except the party seemingly takes place on a boat, which means getting under the floor boards is out of the question. I absolutely believe that teruteru is the first to die in this route.

KatDraws❤️COMS OPEN @katdrawsalot.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Beyond that, i think chiaki is another likely candidate for an early death, that execution could easily be hers. It would also make sense for whoever this is to fill her role as the supporting member in trials. I originally thought hajime would die early but im unsure about that now

KatDraws❤️COMS OPEN @katdrawsalot.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

This is backed up by the fact that we never see teruteru in the trial, we never hear him speak in the trial (which is typically a give away for who dies in dr trailers), and the scrum debate mechanic states "HE" is the culprit. Though it seems like we are arguing that "He" ISNT the culprit

KatDraws❤️COMS OPEN @katdrawsalot.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

If i had to guess what happens in chapter 1, i think teruteru is going to die and soda is going to be his killer. This execution seemingly takes place in a volcano (similar to teruterus, which means this is likely chapter 1's execution), and the blimp/drone is very soda coded

It sounds like ibuki is going to have her own team, but i cant gather much more info on it. Nagito, Hajime, and Mahiru seem to be on the same team as well

after studying the trailers for a bit here are my thoughts on some of the plot points in slayham It seems like monokuma introduces a new motive/set of items called "Slayham items" and that changes the course of the entire game Seemingly adds a team system (though that might just be a motive)
