i was also encouraged by some very kind friends to be brave and share the scene i wrote that goes with the art piece 🫶 (for context: this takes place right after diego collapses in the desert during the scary monsters arc) #scarycreeps ellipsus.com/read/4hT5HuS...

happy day 3 of diego week! 🥳 while i will likely only be participating today due to time constraints and fatigue, i knew i wanted to do today's prompt(s): coffee | fate my piece incorporates both prompts, depicting how cali and diego meet in fanon 💜🩵 #scarycreeps #diegobrando #ocxcanon #diegoweek

digital drawing of diego and cali for diego week day 3. diego is sitting on the ground, groggy and still gathering himself after fainting, reaching for a warm cup of coffee being offered to him by cali. they're crouching down and smiling wide at him as they hand it over. there's a fire by cali with an iron pot hanging above it. diego sits by a small tent, and silver bullet is nearby drinking out of a small water dish. the sun is shining across the sky through scattered clouds.

cropped version of the first image, focusing more on diego and cali.

this is for day two of diego week, the prompt was 'creatures'.. i feel the need every few months to draw a piece that features silver bullet bc that's his best friend 🧡 this is a personal favorite of mine bc diego looks so happy #diegobrando #steelballrun #jjba #sbr

diego brando and silver bullet laying in a grassy field. diego is laying on his side with one arm wrapped around his helmet in the grass, the other arm is stretched out towards silver bullet with his hand cupping the underside of her head. a peaceful expression is on diego's face.

im hosting another diego brando fanweek on tumblr this year, this was for day one and the prompt 'past' :')) i imagine my modern au diego had an emo phase as a teen, which is really cute to think about.. i think the alt girlies would've loved him LOL #diegobrando #steelballrun #jjba #sbr

a modernized version of teenage diego brando. he is seated under a stairwell, looking at his phone. his attire is typical emo/scene style from years ago, and he is wearing thick dark eye makeup. his hair is fried and shorter than in canon. various pngs in the same emo/scene style decorate the area around him.

shoulders-up semi-realistic art of the artist's sona and their modern au version of diego brando. diego is kissing the artist's cheek, and both have their eyes closed. they are framed in a heart that is also decorated with various vintage stickers. a strip of tape is in the upper left, with the words "kat + diego (4 yrs)" written on it.

cali and diego are wrapped in each other's arms and looking longingly at one another. the piece is done in shades of pink, yellow, and purple. the caption to the top left reads "i fancy you, valentine!" there are two hearts underneath the caption, and my signature and date is in the bottom right.

cropped version of second image, focusing on diego's upper torso and head.

diego brando depicted in his usual outfit, minus his helmet. he has his arms pulled tight against his body. he has his left hand on his right shoulder and his right hand on his left side. his eyes are red, eyebrows drawn tight together, and he is pouting. a tear is rolling down from his right eye.

modern au diegyjo in which they are roommates and get up to lots of shenanigans.. this was done for a secret santa event 🧡 #diegobrando #gyrozeppeli #johnnyjoestar #jjba #steelballrun

diego, gyro, and johnny all seated on a couch. gyro is sitting upright with a controller in his hand while grinning. diego, to gyro's right, is asleep with a book face-down on his thigh, he is slumped over on gyro's shoulder. johnny, to gyro's left, is also asleep with his head on gyro's shoulder and one leg slung over the side of the couch. johnny is holding a controller in his hands and has rice scattered across his clothes from previously eating. a tapestry depicting a scene from Italy is hung behind the couch, lit by a crudely hung set of fairy lights. pink light is coming from the television. various clutter is taking up the surface of the coffee table, including a gold horse figurine, a trio of takeout boxes, several sauce packets, and a pile of mail.

get unwell about an OC/character/ship if you want to speedrun leveling up your art. but you have to be genuine with it. gotta be real love. also, be self indulgent as fuck and dont worry too much about appealing to others. trust me, people will pick up what you're putting down if ur insane enough

diego brando and his horse, silver bullet, depicted in a chibi style. diego is on the right, smiling with one sharp tooth poking out as he holds silver bullet's reins in his right hand. his outfit is mostly the same as his canon one, but he is wearing a dinosaur christmas sweater and there is a comically large red gift bow on his helmet. silver bullet is on the left, is also wearing a gift bow on her back, a festive wreath around her neck, and her harness has silver jingle bells on it.

colored portrait of a modern au diego brando. he has a few wrinkes on his face, a pair of circular reading glasses, and his hair is grown out slighter longer than usual. his left hand is resting on his left shoulder, he is looking off to his right. his sweater is brown with its usual diamond pattern, but there are floral details in the empty spaces.
