/Delayed by another Outage/ It was an adorable D🅰️Y 0️⃣7️⃣ filled with many Pirate Kataras and also references to Katara's mother and the same Katara having the chance to be a mother now 🥹💙 It was a great week so far. But if you have any Modern AUs ideas, we'll be waiting to see them in the EXTRA D🅰️Y 0️⃣8️⃣

It was a heartwarming overload of cuteness to see so much material from Katara's childhood or involving her family on D🅰️Y 0️⃣4️⃣~! It’s a shame the fandom overlooks her bond with her father, grandmom & brother— the most underrated aspect I noticed today and it's SOOOOOOO sad!!! TTwTT See you on D🅰️Y 0️⃣5️⃣✨

Y'know, for the longest time, I always wondered why Bumi looked almost nothing like Aang or Katara despite being their son, and then it hit me: He looks more like his maternal grandfather, Hakoda, than his parents.

Kya II from The Legend of Korra Kya is the only daughter of Katara. And a second generation water bender in her known family line. And like her mother she’s both an adapt fighter and healer. In the comics she’s the first person to figure out Korra and Asami have started dating!

Kya is locked in the middle of a fight and is water bending , basically hydrokinesis

It was great to see how fans handled D🅰️Y 0⃣3⃣ in the other websites with mythology-themed Katara alongside informative research into the realm of CULTURE. More people should have taken an interest in researching the origins of the Water Tribe AND NOT been afraid to do so on~‼️ 🙏🏽🙏🏾🙏🏿 See you for D🅰️Y 0⃣4⃣✨

The boomeraang gaang taking a hike through a raging river just so they can get to a nice comforting hot springs a ways away. Zuko at the front, wringing out his long hair, Sokka carries Toph, and Katara looks back at Aang who is getting a shiver from the shocking cold water. They are all holding their clothes above their heads to keep them dry. Momo is sitting by zuko, wondering why they don't just bend the water out of the way. me too, momo, me too.

It was amazing to see Katara fans drawing all those statues for D🅰️Y 0⃣1⃣—exactly what our queen deserved, and more! 💙 Alright, time to get some sleep for now! See you all on D🅰️Y 0⃣2⃣✨

KataraWeek @kataraweek.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

That's absolutely valid to say. It's a shame Katara IS the only one among the crew who never got a statue for HERSELF in L0K! Only the Painted Lady one in AtIa; proving she COULD absolute feel touched by such a gesture! As humble as Katara is: being appreciated feels sweet! She deserved one in L0K~

Day 12778: "A new statue? Really?" "This one is different, it's to celebrate the culturage heritage preservation foundation you built! Firelord Kiyi insisted it was absolutely necessary." "And of course you couldn't convince her otherwise?" "Of course." #ZutaraWeek2026

You just need to look at Katara to notice how hilariously OP waterbenders are among them benders! They can heal, go fishing effectively; move underwater and freeze their enemies; control any kind of liquid 💧💦🌊🌧 and even being Moses if they have the level of this queen~! 💙

It's sad how one of the best written female characters from AtIa is, ironically, one of the most overhated and misunderstood ones. Not even grieving for her mother is seen as normal as *it should* be seen. She is hated for basically "anything". Let's counteract that by loving and celebrating her! 💙
