😂😂😂 NYC / NJ team will be plenty funded (LA too but Cindy always has great designs) but Texas i need to be funded, we need Taemin back in TX (and ATL). Southern kpop fans deserve 💪🏽

I am going to the NYC location but I have one sided petty beef with the NYC shawols person LOL so I'm supporting Cindy and my hometown shawols group 😅

@allinred.bsky.social thank you for sharing the fan support projects! I got to contribute to LA and GP locations 💜

130

Okay well things improved rapidly so I guess i can share this screenshot of me talking with Minho

Screen capture of a fan doing a 1:1 video call with SHINee Minho via Kaka talk. He is wearing a blue jacket with a brown collar and a slightly disheveled on purpose look. He is looking at the fan fondly.

Today's word, unfortunately, is anxiety

Groks has a lot of nostalgia for me because it was my first Keycon and because it was an online only concert there's no fan cams and SM was very aggressive with dmca takedowns. It's practically lost media for that reason, but it's so interesting to watch and see his version of Body Rhythm

In truth it was really sweet, fictional boyfriend was personable and chatty with the show staff while mh was focused on driving, but the unspoken part was them holding hands the entire drive

020

There's that old fandom joke of SK legalizing gay marriage ONLY for minkey

121

It was so disorienting at first -- and extra weird because I don't usually dream like that

010

To be clear, it was weird in the way all k-variety is weird and edited in that overstim way

040

I had a deeply weird dream where Minho was promoting by going on some k-variety show and basically revealed his (non kb) boyfriend to us. Like, never said the word boyfriend, but the guy was holding his hand while in the passenger seat as mh drove, referencing "our" home, etc.

390

From "maybe love is the reason why" (aka "bros who kiss") archiveofourown.org/works/57754039

Minho was laid out flat on the dance studio floor, catching his breath when Kibum appeared like a meerkat in his vision. "Do you know how long it took me to find you?"

He groaned and rolled over. "Go away."

"Absolutely not," Kibum said, zero mercy in his voice. As if to underline his complete lack of sympathy, he (gently) nudged Minho's side with the toe of his chunky sneaker. "Get up, or I'll dance your entire show better than you."

"Rude," Minho complained, but he pushed himself up, first onto his knees and then up to stand. Kibum's threats were seldom idle ones. "I'm up, fine, are you happy now?"

020

We dreamed of this day 🥹

Every time I watch this part, I think about in "bros who kiss" how Kibum threatens to dance Minho's concert better than him 😂

this is minho in the college au

still frame from SHINee Key's instagram reel of him behind the scenes recording a dance challenge with Minho. the image is of Minho, who is in repose on a yellow sofa, in a white tank and jeans. His black shacket is askew and sliding off one shoulder. He's holding his phone in his left hand. The right hand is raised with two fingers up in a vee / peace sign. He is looking at the camera / Kibum with an idol-perfect expression.

The most absolutely massive flex from the state fair exhibit. This quilt is made of 40 years of prize ribbons from various categories at the New Mexico State Fair won by Carol St. Clair Johnson. She also won a prize for this quilt.

satin ribbons

After unexpectedly winning her first blue ribbon for a sewn cape in 1981, Carol St. Clair Johnson developed an enduring love for the New Mexico State Fair. The quilt Fair New Mexico-41 Fair Years incorporates more than six hundred of the ribbons she won at the fair every subsequent year except 2020 (when the fair was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic). Johnson earned ribbons for needlework, knitting, crochet, pies, cookies, cakes, canning, jewelry, flowers, vegetables, and potted plants. The title of the quilt is a reference to the state song, and the design places the state's Zia sun symbol at the center. The quilt earned Johnson yet another ribbon: Best in Category (miscellaneous quilt) at the 2023 New Mexico State Fair.

bless his heart, I say, while adding 2x the gochujang to my pasta

I'm imagining him watching me in horror as I slather everything in lao gan ma or sambal oelek, complaining it's not hot enough

Minho in this studio to a staff member: wow 🤩 you've got a great build 🤩 stand here I'll hold your body 🤩 Me, on my couch, covered in potato chips: sir you are literally on camera !

(for context, and for those who don't know, my parents are south asian. I was born/raised in the US but I grew up eating traditional cooking)

He started sweating at dish one, and dish four is the heat level of the chilis I grew up eating in home cooking.... Is he weak AF or--

Because your friend who has a crush (me) is sitting next to you and talking at you about this event and you're too polite to tell your friend to fuck off (thank you 💜)

Ahem anyway Minho looking disheveled and wet eyed before the first spicy dish is even served
