Convalescing after surgery (it went fine, thanks) and doing some TTPRG sketches. I am a little in love with her come at me face.

An awkward but cheerful looking young man in medieval styled tabard, half turned towards you, with birds flying behind him. The wind brushes his hair to the right. A drawing in ink.

A woman with a face that says come and get me and you're not sure if it's sexy or time for a tight. Her coiled hair is held back loosely and she looks at the viewer in challenge, wearing a sketched sup of armor. Done in ink.

Thank you so much for taking the time to chat with us! And the amazing and informative talk. (Will definitely be checking out this podcast, the one I recommended was Culture Study and the book Scandals of Classic Hollywood) Got a great snap of you speaking.

This week has been wild, but getting to see Neko Case live was a fucking highlight of years. I picked up a signed cd at her table and only found out (because what reading?) When I got home that the signature read - love niko. #music #nekocase

Autographed copy of Neko Case & Hwr Boyfriend's, reading, "Love Niko" held in one hand.

There are good books and them there are books the genuinely shift the mind. This was one of the latter. #tanehisicoates #booksky

A library copy of Ta Nehisi Coates', "Between the World and Me" held in a pale woman's left hand. The cover has a distressed look to the text like sun worn paint on a brick building.

Up in DC comics land these days, doodling a concept for Raven. I will get hoods down one of these days. #dc #comics #raven #titans

Autumn doodles. I am not strictly doing any of the ink, art, draw - tobers this year and am going to just sketch and try to finish one pieces.

A pencil drawing of a girl with long hair enjoying a bowl of soup while autumn leaves fall. The style is soft and cartoonist.

Something about Sunday sketching. Avoiding the heat and hanging out with my dog on the couch.

Pencil studies with an animated edge of a slim, crooked mustache man with a cigarette, an oriental woman with dark lips and pointed features, a rubanedque aphrodite with full cheeks and a kind gaze, and a robust black angel.

A slightly blurring because she decided to move brown and white toy aussiedoodle.

A tattooed girl in a grey baseball cap and her happy dog, tongue out, in a tie dye bandana.

"My grandmother always said she came from the sea. Somehow, though... she always sounded sad when she said it." Dreaming up #memory of mermaids. I really loved doing this little story piece and working in digital + ink is so so fun. I am definitely going to do more of these. #art #mermaid

A cleanly colored digital painting of a photo of a woman, dressed in Victorian clothes with a shell hanging on her choker, with a photo and a news article taped to the glass. She is dressed well, perhaps married to wealth, with a Dowager's countenance and smile lines and heavy cheeks after a life well lived. Her hair is tied back in a complex braided up-do and she stands in a blooming garden on a sunny day. The photo, taped to the glass, is of the sea. The newspaper article depicts a shadowy figure with a tail, swimming among fish. The image is painted in a golden yellow, descending into burnt, and a gold pale blue for highlights and the taped images.

Watercolor Tsunami. Ink with digital color for #mermay

A tsunami breaks the corners of the panel, bearing down on a lone man on the beach. Within the shadowed waves one can just make out the face of a woman. Mother nature incumbent.

Mermaid dump from the last few days. My hands have been knackered and I haven't been able to draw much. #mermay #art #redraw #cabaret #brave

Pen and ink drawing. A mermaid holds up a skull with fish swimming in and out of it. A banner us draped conservatively around her figure reading, "Dream a little dream of me."

A mermaid with one hand and a hook, shimmies enticingly inside a giant clamp shell. A ribbon wound around her hook which she twirls around her body. Pen and ink drawing.

Pen drawing. A mermaid swimsuit into a strange coral looking structure.

A jellyfish inspired mermaid for a friend. Went super deep down the nineties fashion wells for her look which is a Lil McQueen and a Lil Rocha.

Jellyfish and fashion inspired mermaid shepardess leads her flock of round jellyfish sheep through the ocean. Her body pillows outward like the folds of a gown, parts of her transparent with fish swimming inside. The drawing is done in pen and ink.

#cubism is not my strong suit, so I went with more of a mix of linear drawing and a dash of surrealism. (Where's my art history friends at? 👋) Went in not a fan. Then really felt it. Art is funny like that. #mermaid #mermay #mermay2025 #art #pen

Fortunato for @wickedbaggins.bsky.social Thank you! He was a real pleasure to draw.

My friend DJ asked me to design her a pastel goth bunny (she's making the most amazing nail sets.) This what I came up with.

Mint green bunny with purple bat wings sitting on top of a pink scull with a snake curling through the eye sockets. The bunny wears a pink color with a gem hanging from its bow tie.

Today's news has largely sucked, so here's a cool fench I saw in Seaside.

A wooden fence with the slats topped with the silhouettes of birds above a brick wall. They are very cool silhouettes.
