I said this before and I’ll say it again - an absolute banger, „The Whistling Dust” in particular; this album will make my „the best of 2020s” list if I ever make one

I’m a proud owner of this cassette (they’ve finally released something in Europe!)

revisited some early Sabbath albums last week, can’t believe how good and heavy „Vol. 4” sounds for 1972

a few days ago I saw someone here saying that "Oversteps" is their favourite, so I guess it's becoming mainstream! it has a special place in my heart, because I started listening to them in 2010, but currently I think I would say that "SIGN" is my favourite... the last track is sooo beautiful

well, maybe I find it the worst because I’m at the „hate” part for the most part 🫠

110

Jakub Kasperkiewicz @kasperkiewicz.bsky.social · 17/03/2025

I totally agree with the shitty headphones part, but I do appreciate people striving for high fidelity - I’ve just seen some people who neglected music and went all in with the gear, hence all this grumpiness

010

Jakub Kasperkiewicz @kasperkiewicz.bsky.social · 17/03/2025

absolutely nothing, my point is that things are getting a bit out of hand if you care more about gear than music (and at the same time you claim you are a huge music fan), IMHO

100

Jakub Kasperkiewicz @kasperkiewicz.bsky.social · 17/03/2025

definitely not my favorite, but I discovered them in 2010 so still feels kinda important

010

Jakub Kasperkiewicz @kasperkiewicz.bsky.social · 17/03/2025

worst feeling, but it’s a part of the process I guess?

110

Jakub Kasperkiewicz @kasperkiewicz.bsky.social · 17/03/2025

can you give some examples? I thought they just listen to „Wish You Were Jere” and „Take Five” over and over, and instead of music they change gear

If you didn't catch the Bandcamp feature, it's here: daily.bandcamp.com/tape-label-r... Some nice notes on the label and whatnot. New things slowly in the works for later this year.

There’s an undercurrent of witchcraft, perhaps something alchemical that mirrors the mysteries and mythologies of ancient life. It’s a monumental album, and one that’s worth picking apart over time, each new listen peeling back the layers that the pair has created. bit.ly/3X6CQeG
