When you say "less than perfect", you mean "a genocide supporter". But you can't say that, because it'll makes you sound like a psychopat. So you hide behind a vague label, suggesting the want of a non-genocidal candidate is some sort of frivilious purity test.

In itself, this is a good thing, granting us the abililty to escape features we absolutly never asked for. Still, bragging about partially fixing the problems you yourself created sounds very Donald Trump. Don't expect a medal.

So, verbs are nouns which in turn are not verbs but nouns, which is why the former is heterological and the later autological, both of which may be either autological or heterological.

The author defines the more polite genocide supporters as the political "center" and bemoan that they are unfairly slurred as "bigots". Centrists—what's their damage? How do people think that way? It baffles the mind.

The word "disagree" does a lot of heavy lifting. what they disagree with is fascism.

You're doing that thing where you select the most generic framing possible. Yes, it is an "election sign", but also, it is fascist propaganda, which is its strongest aspect. Shielding the core of the matter with intentionally fuzzy language is a bit dishonest, I think.

Bigots don't think, as such. Rather, they shop around for any belief granting their bigotry the surface appearence of rationality. Debating them is futile; as they don't believe in their own words in the first place, proving them wrong won't cause them to reflect in any way.

Not all comic strips are build up on the punchline formula. Think of it more as a series of single jokes on the theme of ridiculing various board game genres. At least, that is my interpretation. For further info, the strip is explained on explainxkcd.com/3235/

From their view, it makes sense. Fascists are against govermental control, and see their beliefs not as beliefs but as a natural want from "normal people". Liberals/centrists see their polite fascism as neutral and balanced, above the political extreme of left/right. Thus, only the left have agency.

Obamas critics: Lists his policies. Obamas groupies: Wax poetically about his surface appearence, and sees his politics in the same vein, "tough choices" which "will probably haunt him forever", giving him a haunted bad boy flair.

The decisions of a president are his policies in action; they are his core, what he truly are. They are not a "flaw" or him being "not perfect", as if he was a fictious character where his surface is core and his vile actions, being fictious, have no real-life consequences.

I think this is more a case of the header and subheader should communicate the content more clearly. Even in the days of printed media—remember those? Newspapers?—in those, the most vital information was placed in the top of the article, since not everyone read the full piece.

The Everyone-is-12 theory made me think of George Bush. He won the election, it was said. because Americans didn't like a president smarter than themself. His lack of intellect was ridiculed in the poem 'Make the Pie Higher'. Which in itself is far more sensible than whatever Trump spews out.

Also Tammy Duckworth: "It does not matter which side you are on. There is simply no place for political violence in this country. This is horrifying and should not happen in America. I wish Charlie Kirk a swift and full recovery," So she can voice a unambiguous condemnation when her heart is in it.

There's a pattern here. Sometimes when Trump lies, he repeat the lie at least three times in a row, making the lie painfully obvious. I've seen this done in fiction for comedic effect, but he is the only one I've seen doing it in real life, repeatedly. Even with his decline, it's really strange.

The reactionary centrist logic is simple: if the left does something bad it’s the left’s fault, and if the right does something bad, it’s also the left’s fault for making them do it. It’s a simple formula and once you see it every one of their arguments is the same
