A study of 1,025 U.S. Marines found that higher levels of a natural antibody called anti-NMDAR1 were linked to roughly 25% lower depression and 22% lower PTSD symptoms after traumatic brain injury. Published in Molecular Psychiatry by researchers at UC San Diego and VA San Diego.

NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter found the largest newly formed crater ever spotted in the solar system. It formed on the Moon in 2024 — 728 feet wide, 141 feet deep. Robert Wagner at Intuitive Machines spotted it in October 2025.

Hurricane Polo exploded from a tropical storm to a Category 5 in under two days off Mexico's Pacific coast. NOAA Hurricane Hunters measured 180 mph winds and 892 mb pressure—the second-most intense Eastern Pacific hurricane on record. It has since weakened to a Category 4.
