Ah, Lakon Spaceways... A company that never saw an aesthtic flourish it couldn't cut in order to maximum internal volume... The Type 6 Transporter - a brick. The Type 7 - a brick with delusions. The Type-8, a brick with crane parts stuck to it...

The square-ish, solid shape of the Type-6 Transporter, a spacecraft from the video game Elite:Dangerous sits on a landing pad rather like a Robin Reliant does in a parking space...

Came back from another fairly hectic work day to discover that Kit (right) had taken in a parcel for me whilst I was at work. He'd also opened the parcel but kindly refrained from opening the new toys without me...

Boxed Takara Tomy Legioss Omega and Basara Prime toys sit on a floral-patterened sofa against a blue, green and white throw which is laid across the sofa's back. Next to the boxes, with one paw on top of a box and looking a tiny bit smug, sits a plush fox with a rather festive themed red and blue scarf the ends of which look rather like two fox tails themselves.

Spent a couple of evenings working the "foundry". I think that this is not a bad result so far. But what can they possibly become? Ah. Well. I'm afraid that it is no part of Aeolia's, or my, plan to reveal that to you quite yet...

Not sure if I'm going to go to work in costume tomorrow. But if I change my mind then I'll just have to hensh...er, change... (Don't worry - the bag is entirely safe, it has been inspected and pronounced to contain no slipper...)

A messenger bag lies in a grey carpet, half on the brim of a hat. Behind it a long coat is drapped over some furniture. Sliding out of the bag is what appears to be a Kamen Rider replica Driver attached to its belt.

This is a welcome, and very foxy cup of coffee that will give me a Boost. But I'm not 100% sure it's my coffee...

Checked in, unpacking begins with the main priority items...

So, I was on my way to the station, found this rail ticket on the ground and picked it up. Went through the station doors and now I'm here... Firstly, I think I am going the ling way around to the convention.. secondly, can anyone explain what is "Den-Liner?".

Boxing day walk this morning, out and around the local park through the trees and back past the pond.

I think someone is pretty pleased with our work today. And you know what - I think he has earned that.

You know, I think Blu might have got the hang of this now...

It's decorations time once again, and we all know what that means... yep, Blu is helping out again. He's learnt the "start after the top and wind downwards" thing, and is excited to try it out...

Most recent build was supposed to be waiting its turn in the queue. And then it occured to me that Chuatary Panlunch is not exactly the most patient person I can think of. So I moved it up the line... Two Demi Trainer's built. The Third awaits some final decisions about how I want to customise it...

So, if no original component remains in her ancestor's mech...is Theseus really still her ancestor's mech? :-) 2/2

Karlt @karlt.bsky.social · 20/08/2023

First of the current batch of Battletech miniatures gotten to where I want it. A Rifleman named Theseus by its current pilot. The same mech has been in her family since the fall of the Star League, upgraded, repaired and modified - every component replaced at least once...
