Bees are small, fragile, and easily overlooked. And yet, in their heavy pollen-laden wings, they hold something of the planet's balance. With every flight, with every touch of the petals, the bee gathers not only nectar—it gathers life, color, hope.

As a teen, Claudette Colvin helped launch a movement for #EqualRights when she was arrested in 1955 for refusing to give up her seat to a white person on a #Montgomery bus, months before Rosa Parks did the same. #TheMarchContinues as we remember her life & legacy. Rest in power, Claudette Colvin 🕯️.

“I have advocated, and I still advocate revolutionary change. I advocate an end to capitalist exploitation, the abolition of racist policies, the eradication of sexism, and the elimination of political repression. If that is a crime, then I am totally guilty.” - Assata Shakur

A Black police officer, David Rose, was shot and killed defending a federal government building last month, and he didn’t get a presidential medal or a congressional moment of silence. A white civilian, Charlie Kirk, is shot and killed on a college campus, and he did.

BREAKING: Congress just gave final approval on a budget bill that guts Medicaid, defunds Planned Parenthood, and supercharges funding for ICE. We the people will bear the brunt of these harmful policies — and we won’t forget who caused this devastation to our health, rights, and dignity.

The media has focused on wealthy, White neighborhoods. But the fire in Altadena--a racially and economically diverse suburb--deserves more attention, because insurance may not cover their rebuilding costs, forcing families out and leading the neighborhood to gentrify. www.reuters.com/world/us/far...
