I was SO CLOSE. I thought I was all set up to win but then my opponent popped of the most awesome and ridiculous combo I've ever seen in Altered involving multiple cards and cycling through the deck & discard multiple times. It was so wild, I didn't even mind losing to it.

This is, quite clearly, mad

# Nine in ten six-figure earners say they are not wealthy, new survey reveals

SAMUEL NORMAN

AN ANNUAL income of £213,000 has been declared the benchmark for "wealthy" according to new research from HSBC.

HSBC UK's new report 'Your Money's Worth: Defining Wealth in 2025' revealed nine in 10 high earners do not consider themselves wealthy, with only one per cent of the population identifying as so.

The top four per cent of earners identify an income of £724,000 as necessary to consider themselves wealthy.

Speaking to City AM, HSBC's head of premier wealth Xian Chan said there was a "perception gap" around wealth.

"One of the things that the study has shown us is that there is one part of the income statement, obviously how much you earn.

"And then there is the other on how much you spend."

Chan explained the reason behind the perception gap was "lifestyle inflation," where spending rises with increased pay.

"You may be earning a lot of money, or a significant amount of money, but you're probably also spending a significant amount of money."

I threw together this paper "box" last year to take pictures of my tokens for the Etsy shop. I got it out earlier to take a picture of something and forgot to put it away. Now it belongs to Monsieur Chat du Blanc I guess.

A large white cat sitting on a makeshift paper light box on top of a small wooden table, looking at the camera with absolutely no remorse whatsoever.

I have never heard a cat descending stairs as loudly as Monsieur Chat du Blanc. This gentleman sounds like he is *falling* down the stairs every single time, but he is truly just that loud on the steps. I wish I could share this experience with all of you because it cracks me up on a daily basis.

They say money can't buy happiness but let me tell you right now, if I suddenly received a large sum of money I could use that money to solve a lot of problems which are causing me stress, and without that stress I would be a lot happier. It won't solve everything, but it sure would help. So.

BREAKING: Here is the anti-trans sex/gender executive order. It's extensive, it's bad, and it's often lawless. www.whitehouse.gov/presidential... And, do not miss in "d" and "e" below, it even tries to put in the beginnings of a personhood argument, for some reason.

Sec. 2. Policy and Definitions. It is the policy of the United States to recognize two sexes, male and female. These sexes are not changeable and are grounded in fundamental and incontrovertible reality. Under my direction, the Executive Branch will enforce all sex-protective laws to promote this reality, and the following definitions shall govern all Executive interpretation of and application of Federal law and administration policy:

(a) “Sex” shall refer to an individual’s immutable biological classification as either male or female. “Sex” is not a synonym for and does not include the concept of “gender identity.”

(b) “Women” or “woman” and “girls” or “girl” shall mean adult and juvenile human females, respectively.

(c) “Men” or “man” and “boys” or “boy” shall mean adult and juvenile human males, respectively.

(d) “Female” means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the large reproductive cell.

(e) “Male” means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the small reproductive cell.
