Imagine Town Magazine (originally Game Candy) was a mag supplement published by Ubisoft in the late 2000s and early 2010s to promote their line of casual games for girls - here's our mini-collection: archive.gamehistory.org/folder/6187…

I just love how three to four modal windows race for foreground attention on the infotainment screen whenever I start my car, depending which subsystem booted up fastest. For all that's good in the world, the reverse cam seems to be hardwired to always be on top no matter what. #ux

My rather esoteric blog post on how to setup an internet radio using Icecast is somehow according to Google my most read blog post. I want to high five anyone who attempts to setup their own old skool audio streaming setup in the age of all the streaming services. kalifi.org/2020/03/inte... #icecast

Why do so few sci-fi works feature saunas or bathhouses? Is it because the heat and moisture is so antithetical to the cold vacuum of space? Or because they are mortal enemies of any high tech electronics without suitable IP classification? Can cyborgs enjoy sauna?

In retrospect, the dumbest thing I ever did with my blog was to add any Semantic Web markup, making the website very easy for AI bots to endlessly scrape. Funnily, more people might be exposed to my bad takes unattributed on chat bots than on my website.

Earlier this month, I took part in my very first game jam by making my very first adventure (not counting the ones I did with my brother for Hero Quest back as kids) for @claymorerpgs.bsky.social 's FIST as part of their FIST: JAM OPS V.
