Something to keep your eye on after the birthright citizenship arguments: 2 other cases before SCOTUS- 1 involving humanitarian parole & another involving TPS- where the govt is asking SCOTUS to let it deport up to 1 million people w/o going through the proper legal process. 🧵

🎉BREAKING: We won! The judge just officially stayed (blocked) the federal notice that was set to end humanitarian parole for Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela on April 24th. The court also granted us class certification. Stay tuned for more details on what this ruling means!

🔊🚨UPDATE on #humanitarianparole: JAC + @humanrights1st.bsky.social just had our 2nd hearing this week in Boston in Svitlana Doe v. Noem + the judge indicated that she will rule soon to stay (block) the revocation of parole. It was a packed courthouse w/ many impacted members in attendance.🧵⤵️

From CBP One web site. It is over. Future outstanding appointments about 30,000 are being cancelled. People are receiving those email now. This afternoon presentations had been rescheduled to Feb 9 last Friday. Now to be crushed. At least this morning people were allows to present.
