Autism is NOT a disease. Measles, mumps, and rubella are. Vaccinate your kids.

Those who don't study history are going to repeat its tragedies and offenses. Let us remember those who fought for an end to an unjust war.

Here in the US, gas and groceries cost more. Tariffs increase our costs. Overseas, our buying power drops. Are we great yet? Asking for my friends...

Chart shows the comparison of the US dollar to Euros, with a precipitous drop recently.

[DOGE is] about efficiency in the same way that the "Ministry of Truth" in Nineteen Eighty-Four was about truth. 📚 So says Rebecca Solnit in her newsletter called "Meditations in an Emergency." Get it. Read it. Good stuff from a strong voice for the resistance.

And what was he doing, spending millions to go to a game when he has a job to do "governing" the country? Did he even know where he was? Word is he left early. If ever there was fraud and waste, this would certainly look like it. Where was DOGE (pronounced douche)? More BS. 🤬

I don't know how you feel about this, but I had a negative, visceral reaction to seeing the chief felon with his hand raised in a salute during the national anthem. Here is a guy who had five deferments for bone spurs, who calls those who have served "losers" and "suckers". I'm not buying his BS. 🤬

It's hard to find these in dark times. But if you need a little, I'm here for you. Share your love and light when and where you can. Each act of kindness and compassion for others, no matter how small, lights the way for others and brings hope. Don't be afraid. You are not alone.

Our school board & superintendent set policies, wrote documents, provided training to assist all staff in dealing with ICE demands for info on students & families. Bottom line: we support ALL our kids, regardless of ethnicity, origin, gender, economics, etc. Proud of them for standing up for kids! 💖

I am already so sick of the demented, smirking, grifting, raping felon, and he hasn't taken the oath of office yet. As if he would do what it says... never going to happen.

Words of encouragement for these difficult days. Do the small, kind thing. Baby steps. Little things add up to big change.

The terrorist attack in New Orleans is horrific, and I am beyond angry that these events continue. On the upside, there are people showing up to donate blood, to give real time aid and support to those affected by this tragedy. Heartbreaking disasters like this bring out the best in those who care.

People talking about colleges as indoctrination of ideas, and promoting the benefits of home schooling instead, need to read this book. It is one woman's story of being home-schooled and how being in the larger world opened her mind. "Educated" by Tara Westover.
